The result is that its natural resources haven’t been consumed to the degree that most developed countries’ resources have, and there aren’t as many people to consume them.
I find it a strangely fair situation. Their luck comes from having friendly neighbors who care about their well-being and responsible development.
They might get sued or prosecuted if they say it’s safe and a big one strikes.
Eye transplants were available in that realist dys/utopian future.
Unlike Workers, we made Snow Owl more user friendly and no/low code, with a robust rules engine for custom routing. All requests are logged by default for rapid debugging. It's intended for all members of development teams to commonly handle network operations and site maintenance, especially for maximizing uptime.
Snow Owl sits in front of your back end, enabling request-level monitoring for rapid debugging, and conditional routing based on a rules engine. It sets up in less than 20 minutes and is cloud agnostic.
For those of you implementing microservices, this is one great way to do it without getting into the complexities of Kubernetes.
We'd love to hear your feedback, input, and questions!

Melbourne and Indian Wells in the Southern California desert are hot with or without climate change. The Vancouver Open is lovely.
From my civil engineering and energy economics coursework, the one of the largest economic deterrents to nuclear power adoption was insurance: nobody would insure the construction of a plant, because a failure would bankrupt the insurance company.
To give the article credit, they do allude to catastrophic incidents and waste storage costs in near perpetuity, but don’t really mention insurance.
The unpopular root of these is the utilization of fossil fuels. I.e. we found and harnessed a 600M+ year energy bank account.
I have a tough time seeing how this gets the point across
We don’t rob people then give them back their things to raise awareness about robbery.
As long as reasonable measure are taken to vet the candidates and that the legislation isn’t perversely skewed, this seems like a no brainer.
The ROI on science talent must be high.
There are a very limited number of manufacturing facilities approved to product infant formula, and only the largest of companies have the scale to work with them.
This affects product quality—illegally importing baby formula from smaller brands in Europe into the US has become incredibly popular because the perception of quality is much higher.
Does strict regulation to ensure the immediate safety of formula make sense? Yes. Does regulation that is so strict that only established multi-billion dollar businesses are the only ones who can produce it make sense? I don’t believe so and I believe that it’s bad for the country.
I agree with the sentiment though, in which case maybe the currency in which the assets are denominated is overvalued.
Those young adults will still have every right to be financially irresponsible.
