mindball··on Ask HN: How to sell iOS apps + source code
Flippa or look for a website broker to handle the sale for you. Typically a broker would take 10%-30% depending on a number of factors.

mindball··on Ask HN: interview with a "deal of the day" company
Thanks for the feedback. Were you interviewing for a sales job?
mindball··on Ask HN: interview with a "deal of the day" company
Thanks for the reply. Business casual it is. Do you have an idea what the carrying quota per month/quarter would be?
mindball··on How to go about selling your online business?
That seems fair. If you are looking to go ahead with the sale feel free to send me an email (fraser at username dot com). I have brokered a few deals for companies making 100k+/year.
mindball··on Ask HN: Review my startup, Localo.com
I think you should be looking at the large picture here. Yes the local market makes sense to start but the idea is to scale the business up to take a % of a billion dollar industry not a cottage industry with say $100 mill total market.
mindball··on Ask HN: Review my startup, Localo.com
I like the idea. I was confused when I searched Toronto and the top result had a price but the rest didn't.

My question is how scalable is this? Is the idea to eventually integrate hotel listings?

mindball··on YC: The new grad school
I have to agree with you regarding the way everything is going. Grad school is a very common for everyone to have so being part of something like YC or TS is just another avenue to expand your education in exchange for a piece of equity.

When booed, Sheen responded, "Too bad. I already got your money."

Sheen: "What stories do you want to hear?" Everyone is yelling, booing.

Sheen: "I'm having a great time!"

Charlie Sheen is sitting on stage tweeting. Guy behind me just yelled, "I want my money back!"

Sheen: "Tell the guy next to you booing to shut the --- up so the rest of us can enjoy the show."

Sheen has lost control of the crowd. He left the stage and ordered some music. Rapper onstage now.

Crowd booed the 'Winning' video, which features Snoop Dogg, not Charlie. People are leaving. The end? Charlie didn't say goodbye!

And so ends Charlie Sheen's first live show. Wow.

300 mill is less than a year is just nuts. Could you imagine what that money could have done for other ventures?
