It's an old issue with Cloudflare, more details here:

milhouse1337··on Ask HN: How do you manage backup 2FA codes?
You can use Authy, the restore feature works great. You simply have to save the recovery key somewhere safe. You also have to thrust the developer here (Twilio) in this case.

You can try the Docker build I just made if you want: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23951167
milhouse1337··on Show HN: A simple CLI tool to generate satellite images of a location
I just pushed a Docker build here: https://hub.docker.com/r/milhouse1337/felicette

You can use it like this:

  docker run -it -v "$PWD"/felicette-data:/root/felicette-data milhouse1337/felicette felicette -l "Montreal"
That's a very cool project to play with! Thank you @plant99 for this.

Author here.

I started last friday and learned on this whole journey. First I started to mess with `jq` to convert the CSV files on a more friendly format (JSON). Then I figured that `D3.js` can parse CSV files and transform the data on the fly.

Let me know what you think. I will try to add a few features on the next hours/days.

Thank you!

milhouse1337··on PHP in 2020
Haters gonna hate I guess, it's your opinion. The world around any stack evolves and you apparently want to keep your old opinion about PHP. You failed to show us why this reputation is still valid today.
milhouse1337··on Ask HN: Where can I learn about Nikola Tesla?
I might suggest this documentary. It focuses on the Wardenclyffe tower, crazy stuff if you never saw it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tower_to_the_People

There is a trailer available here. https://vimeo.com/ondemand/nikolatesla

milhouse1337··on GitMarket: The right way to sell code
In fact 30% for non-exclusive content is lower than Envato. http://themeforest.net/become-an-author

I totally agree that 30% is a base standard here but we plan to push the fees as low as we can (by giving you multiple payment providers and checkout options), we also plan to lower the fees to all beta subscribers and finally we also have lower withdraw fees (way lower than 25$ for a SWIFT transfer).

Thank you for you interest!

milhouse1337··on GitMarket: The right way to sell code
Hi HN, CTO here.

I'm so proud to see my work here on the only news site I read daily! We are here to answer your questions if you have any and don't forget to subscribe to the beta.

Have a good day!

milhouse1337··on WordPress in the Cloud
You are right, this will be more a "service aggregation". Basically we will be giving you the ability to launch, manage and customize WP instances. Not all hosting are equal and not all cloud providers can support "efficiently" a WordPress site. That's why we wanted to merge all together the possbilities cloud-based IT infrastructure has to offer with a great CMS. This will ensure your WordPress will stay optimized, updated, secure and scalable at least on the technical side. A lot more details will be available soon.
milhouse1337··on WordPress in the Cloud
Totally agree, in fact we where not aware that our beta page was published on Hacker News :) Again, sorry for the lack of technical details here, will be done very soon.
milhouse1337··on WordPress in the Cloud
Yes, kind of like wordpress.com but a little more flexible and consistent. This is NOT multisite (WP-MU) or anything like that. All the details will be available soon.
