Thank you for the input. Would you care expanding on why you would find it useful?

We do take XML feeds from Resales.

Niche real estate portal for foreigners looking to buy a property in Spain.

I’ve built it in Ruby on Rails and hosting on Heroku.

Running free trials for realtors in case anyone’s interested :-)

But I would mostly appreciate feedback about what you are missing from existing real estate portals.

mike128··on Ask HN: HNers with multiple sclerosis, can we get in touch?
I'm currently reading "The myth of normal" by Gabor Mate, MD. Not a book about MS specifically but he presents there some cases of MS which were managed using some non-standard approaches. It might be interesting for you what he has to say about the causes and 'treatment' of the illness.
mike128··on Proposed EU rules would require clothes to last longer and be easier to repair
If I was making policies I would oblige manufacturers of anything to take back and recycle their product at the end of life. This would make sure products/packagings are made to be recyclable and/or biodegradable.

This should be applied not only to clothing, but really everything. I would expect the first result would be no single use plastics anywhere.

Obviously the cost of the change would be transferred to consumers on the purchase price. However we are already paying it in a deferred manner with the degradation of the natural world.

mike128··on Ask HN: What book changed your life?
No more mr nice guy.

The power of your subconscious mind.

mike128··on JRE Missing (Rogan episodes removed by Spotify)
Are they giving any rationale for removing each episode? I would be interested to see why the Tim Ferris episode didn’t make it. Or Bill Burr for that matter - was he not funny enough?
mike128··on Ask HN: How to preserve evidence for future Intellectual Property trial?
It is covered under copyright. Here in Europe there is no patents for software.
mike128··on Ask HN: How to preserve evidence for future Intellectual Property trial?
> What intellectual property rights are you asserting?

Not sure I understand the question correctly. As an author of the source code I hold the IP. I'm suing to stop the company from using my code and for compensation for the time they are using it without permission.

> Did you consult with an attorney?

Yes, the case is submitted to the court and awaiting a trial.

mike128··on Ask HN: Courses/resources to improve my self-esteem and believe in myself more?
Ayahuasca worked for me
mike128··on Ask HN: CS, still a good career in 3-5 years?
Do what you love - as cliche as that.

The best career is the one that gives you joy and fulfillment. If CS is what floats your boat then it’s the right choice for you.

Go for career that pays much more but you must drag yourself from bed to go to the office every morning and you are set up for a life of misery - no matter how much money you make.

mike128··on A Neuroscientist Who Discovered He Was a Psychopath (2013)
Seems like a catch 22 situation. Should we believe a publication of a psychopath or should we assume it’s a manipulation. Matrix within Matrix.
mike128··on Ask HN: What Podcasts are you listening right now and why?
Tim Ferriess Show
mike128··on Uber employees 'spied on ex-partners, politicians and Beyoncé' (2016)
There's been a lot of stories lately putting Uber in a bad light. It makes me wonder if it's not their competition who is behind it. Taxi industry lobby perhaps?
mike128··on Ask HN: What books fundamentally changed the way you think about the world?
Free to Choose - Milton Friedman

Emotional Intelligence - Daniel Goleman

mike128··on Whatbrowser.org doesn't work on IE8
That's the site Google points you to for more information if i.e. Google Maps doesn't load on your browser
mike128··on Ask HN: What is the biggest untapped opportunity for startups?
+1 for Paleo. I'm also on a 'light' version of it for the past 2 years and can confirm the effects.
mike128··on It’s time EU laws caught up with technology
The prime example of what you can expect when EU politicians take on technology is the Cookie Law...
