midwestemo··on How will ATSC 3.0 transform TV advertising?
For local live events, you can't really beat OTA. ABC/FOX/NBC/CBS is all I really need for TV.

Have a 3060 and it's fine for me, took me ~8-9 secs to produce it at default settings
midwestemo··on Problems at Roblox
I played Roblox in the past (like 2012?) and it did have one called Safe Chat. It got removed in 2014 according to here.

Steam is usually targeted 13+, since most users are under 13 I doubt most are on steam. Probably mobile games (as you said), Minecraft, YouTube, etc.

I don't know about WSLg specifically but last time I heard if you runs a x server with an application like VcXsrv, install XFCE and configure it to use the x server. You can pretty much run XFCE or any other desktop environment in WSL. I don't know about the performance however.
midwestemo··on Locast’s free TV service shuts down after losing copyright ruling
Locast wouldn't let you watch over 15 mins before interrupting you to donate. Then you would need to exit out and join the channel back. To remove this you had to donate around $5/mo AFAIK when I used it last time. So it wasn't really "non-profit"

The OpenSSH they were using was from 2014/2015 so they probably didn't update the OS or anything at all for a while

Man this year is flying, I still think it's 2020.
midwestemo··on 'Arthur,' the longest-running kids animated series, is ending
There were multiple episodes that I remember watching as a child (In fact, I think I have seen all the episodes except the recent ones in the last 3-4 years). The one where they make a movie due to the new "James Hound" movie is rated PG-13, the Christmas movie about uncle frank, the Mr Rogers episode where he comes and stay in Arthur house(there was another episode like this except Arthur's teacher Mr.Ratburn) and so much others. However, one thing that was stuck in my head ever since I saw it was an episode where Muffy was watching a Backstreet Boys music video and Francine calls them a sellout. So she makes a band and calls it "U stink." Then they play in a front of a crowd and the Backstreet Boys themselves come[0]. That episode and the ones where they have different animation like South Park and beavis and butthead were the ones that stuck with me as a kid. But I have to admit how long this aired, I thought it would end in 2015, but apparently they kept making new episodes.

midwestemo··on The PinePhone could bring the Linux mobile ecosystem to life
I would buy a pinephone at the moment but the performance is just not that much compared to Android phones. It's not good for a daily phone to use at the moment. Until then, I'll stick with my OnePlus 7 Pro until there's a linux phone with good performance, even if it costs more.

midwestemo··on Android emulator abused to introduce malware onto PCs
Genymotion seems to be fine from me, I don't remember having zero bugs from my experience. However as you pointed, yes I'm speaking from past experiences from like 5 months ago. I know that android studio has an emulator but I remember it being more suited for development than personal gaming compared to genymotion
midwestemo··on Android emulator abused to introduce malware onto PCs
I knew nox has been adware for a while and I'm surprised it's still being used. Literally go to r/noxappplayer and you'll see most of the top posts are about it being malware. If anyone's need a good android emulator, genymotion is probably the best and it's free for personal uses https://www.genymotion.com/fun-zone/
