A few things that would make me actually use it: - namespaces (aka, organizations in GitHub terminology) - private repos (I usually start with private repos and then make them public)
The interface is really friendly and I like how approachable it is. You should make dedicated docs site instead of throwing folks at a bunch of markdowns. Maybe create a “Pages” equivalent and demo it by building a docs site?
I still have Sublime Text as the backup editor. It's lack of a powerful sidebar and search are the only things that stopped me from using it regularly.
I do use VSCode at times and the CoPilor powered tab completion (which mostly hallucinates and spits out nonsense) is just obnoxious. I've found JetBrains' implementation of full line completion and block completions a lot more thoughtful and reliable.
I wrote a post about subsetting, in context of my personal site, here: https://www.naiyerasif.com/post/2024/06/27/how-i-subset-font...
This just feels wrong to me because ghazals have nothing to do with Islamic cultural sphere. In fact, very many poets who’re prolific at ghazals are decidedly unIslamic.
Apart from this nit, I think “translation” is incorrect way to describe converting a ghazal to English. At best, it can be an “accurate interpretation”, but it’ll always be an interpretation.
Linguistic differences apart, when you read the same ghazal side by side in Urdu and English, you’ll notice the cultural differences, sometimes subtle and sometimes very pronounced. And that’s just the nature of languages which have a vast cultural context. This context makes the feel of a piece very different regardless of how accurate it is to the original.
I sneered in derision at the use of “reciprocity”. Good luck expecting that from a billion dollar capitalism machine out there to ingest your creative work.
Before someone suggests to purchase and ask refund if things don’t work out, Apple has been flat out rejecting my refund requests despite genuine justifications for many recent purchases.
