michelangelo··on DoltLite: A SQLite fork with Git-style version control, built with 2k agent PRs
Pre 2020 HN reading this would be stoked.
michelangelo··on YouTube ads are about to get even longer and they'll be unskippable
> Why are people even so dumb to use TV apps for a fucking TV?

To address both the arrogant tone and the question itself: because sometimes people don’t have, don’t want to have or cannot use a computer connected to a TV.

Not everyone is a HN commenter with anger issues. Most of times these devices (TVs, streaming sticks and so on…) are used by normal folks that are not comfortable with computers.

michelangelo··on Peter Thiel: 2,436 emails with Epstein from 2014 to 2019
Seems the Antichrist is way closer to him than he thinks.

I’d say more than €5.

michelangelo··on Planito: A 9-day week for a balanced life
I’m struggling to figure out if this is a joke.

michelangelo··on Apple's classic Pascal poster, remade as a vector image [pdf]
This is absolutely gorgeous!
michelangelo··on Ongoing Issues with Certain Cards in ApplePay
I was impacted too: it seems certain payment methods in ApplePay are showing up as "expired" even though they're valid.

For impacted users the services that auto-renew are defaulting: in case there are other cards the transaction follows through in priority order, otherwise it'll just fail.

To check: open Settings.app->Your Name at the Top->Payment & Shipping

michelangelo··on Chrome was delivered without any sprints at all (2021)
> They seem to be using “sprint” and “death march” interchangeably.

That’s absolutely not what’s written there and I’m surprised the context - and the narrative goal of the article - is not being grasped.

To put it more simply and distill it even more the gist is: “senior professionals know how to work and can manage their work structure/pace”.

michelangelo··on GSMA considers giving away mobile device locations through API
The reference repository - with some more information - seems to be on [1]. It also includes meeting minutes other than some early API spec.

Ah! Meeting information are also included... you know, in case one is interested in attending.;-)
