I like what you said about emotions. There's this idea that we should "control our emotions". Sorry, but it isn't that simple. Why would we have emotions evolutionarily if they aren't beneficial?
YouTube and Wikipedia working together are good strides. LinkedIn offers suggestions on how to respond to people, then the new Gmail came out with that same feature, I hope Airbnb does too.
Maybe, when using curse words/slang AI could suggest something more intelligible?
If we connected our brains to an emotional evaluator, we could include all the necessary emoji automatically, so we don't accidentally forget that winky face when point out an irony or satire (satire; often mistaken for sarcasm due to different emotional attachments).
I guess I would be like the truck driver that's lives completely out of mainstream. "Even your credit score will someday be controlled by how much people like you." Sounds horrible. That is the opposite of the future that I want.
Maybe some people don't work well with others. Has society already deemed these people unproductive/unnecessary? Social influence is just like any other magnanimous recognition; few and far between.
It seems like there is this trend where LinkedIn bloggers pick out the 7 best attributes from their role models and suddenly everyone has to adopt that mindset or you are shamed out of your "influential" position. Just because Arianna Huffington did it, doesn't mean we all have to.
What is "cross-cultural competency"? Does that mean I have to give up my office with a window so my Muslim co-worker can pray before he eats his lunch alone every day? Or does that mean it is OK to be late for meetings like in many Asian cultures? Buzzword bingo.
If the entire world caught the exact same flu at the same time, would we only trust our doctors? Why are people so concerned with the privacy of their medical records? What good does this information do in the hands of criminals? The only reason medical records are private is so you can hide ailments from insurance providers. One broken system feeding off another.
Don't bother responding to this comment I send all of my online conversations directly to the FBI, on purpose.
It's like they lost all self control with words and could only cuss and scream but no one could articulate how they personally have been affected by the politics. Worse yet, even if people are affected by bad legislature, hardly anyone I know actually has the willpower and ability to go and do something about it.
I have an Israeli friend that protested a gas station. There was already one on the block and they wanted to put another one on a different corner. He got signatures from all the surrounding neighbors. Then presented it to City council with the argument that gas stations can only be built if they have 25 feet distance from the nearest residential house. He had both the support of the neighborhood and support of existing laws. The gas station wasn't built.
It's a wonderful idea to build something using modern techniques. There is a joke in engineering about the architect that doesn't know how to use a hammer.
I would be happy to generate a plethora of links to resources if you like? What is the climate for the structure? What is the ground like, rock or sand? Concrete molds are available at any mainstream hardware store or supply store. Are you sure you would use concrete above the basement and ground floor? That is heavy and it takes a while to warm and cool it which can be a benefit or a problem.
Edit: it's also known as unsecured-debt, which means the worst thing anyone can try to do to you is ruin your credit score. This isn't worth dying over and America is designed to bear the cost.
My JavaScript version I just put a simple wrapper around my print-results call to check if it is in module mode or notebook mode.
