I reccomend playing arms race to get good at the mechanics of it. Constant fighting, a lot of fun, and if you're not good at moving and aiming you'll get good because it's constant practice.

The researchers estimate that if the system is scaled up to the size of a small suitcase, it could produce about 4 to 6 liters of drinking water per hour and last several years before requiring replacement parts. At this scale and performance, the system could produce drinking water at a rate and price that is cheaper than tap water.

This seems like it would be extremely useful if it pans out.

It does not. Stevia is a herb, no fructose or glucose. There is no reason to believe it is anything but benign.

The blue blocking lens addition that's sold for regular glasses is very dumb, your optometrist was correct. First, you want blue light during the day so why would you want to have that on glasses you wear all day? And two, they don't block nearly enough blue light to make a difference at night. You need the very orange tinted safety glasses for that. Those absolutely do work.

Definitely a factor. As agrarian societies expanded into hunter gatherer territory they would kill the men and take the women. Agriculture did not spread because it was a better deal for the individual at the time, it spread because it could support higher population density and specialization, including a warrior caste. And thus was more succesful at conquering and holding land.

Yeah thats not at all comparable to ultra orthodox judaism. They live in a bubble, and if you leave that bubble you are shunned by everyone you know.

They also marry young, like at 18/19 and then are expected to start having kids immediately. Once they have kids, they're stuck. If you want to leave the faith you better have your spouse on board or you will also be leaving your kids.
