Now Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk can live physically above us as well as above us in their heads.

Is Tiwan not a country?

Are you saying nobody should be regulating it?

doesn't need fixing. People in California should not have disproportionate control over people in Wyoming due to their population.

If the shortened emergency FDA process for covid vaccines is "safe" then it should be considered safe for other products as well. If its not safe, then it should be no safe for the covid vaccines as well.

why is it an "abortion pill" if its the night after but a "birth control" when its the night before?

can publicly available data be the property of someone?

They are taking it without need to protest?

Google better shut down the AI before they are legally required to keep it on by some idiot judge who doesn't know better orders it remain on.

Who ever has the wallet is the owner. If coinbase has a copy of your private wallet then they are part owner of it.

Not to be to critical here, but awards in these areas should be gender mixed. Separating them makes it seem like women need their own like they need their own sports leagues.

The HN audience is probably all mega-genius super chads

This is just capitalism minus a few steps.

Thanks! I'd forgotten Wikipedia address.

That is not true. Either A) You know for a fact all content is safe for underaged, or B) You verify.

What is safe for underaged is not defined and can change on a whim. Therefor, any sane person running a website that is not "explicitly for underageds" will verify and eject said underageds. Especially since the one in charge (hired by the company) can be personally liable for any "harm" comming to the underaged.

Also, if this works, let call them "Galactic standard credits"

I have about 5 productive hours and I get a ton of work done. The other three hours I'm pretty much here commenting on stuff.

How many people are you looking for and what kind of work (embedded? Front end? Full? All?)

Are you hiring or something and want a premade team?

exclusively yes

The rich people are in charge. If forgiving your debt is in their best interest it will happen. Spoiler: You should pay your loans.

This law has good intentions but will be used to imprison political rivals and online gamers. The first link in the chain is forged, captain, get ready for a wild ride.

I have the same experience. I cant event get people onto github. We spend thousands a month trying to keep our international teams connected to our local servers and they still have to zip up the project and send it to me over teams.

Prices coming down is very bad news for anyone who already owns property in Portland. What if Joe Schmoe has a 1mil mortgage and the value falls to 500k inline with the surrounding cheaper units? Well, Joe looses the house to the bank and then the banks takes a huge loss. Multiply this by thousands and is a recipe for "bringing down the upper class" at everyone's expense.

Windows and Linux support Intels iGPU. I don't believe that either supports the M1 gpu since Apple certainly does not support those OSes on their hardware.
