Everyone should take away a lesson that it is impossible to negotiate with Putin. Dialog is impossible and decisions should not be influenced by these threatenings and warnings.

Blaming West is overthinking the situation IMHO. The most simple explanation is that Russia is controlled by corrupt hierarchy with psycho on top of it. The psycho feels nostalgia for imperialism and soviet era. The psycho values hectares of land over the lives of peaceful civilians.

For sure. But Russians now have an important mission to speak up. They share the language with those soldiers going into war. They share the language with those Putin supporters. Do not accept this norm.

Nuke everything in few weeks? Yes, possible.

Yes. I see this is a problem. In 1930's Germany these kind of referendums(fraudulent?) made the world-wide catastrophe.

Anyway it is fundamentally(?) always the majority who agrees on the rules. And the majority chooses how to advocate for minorities (one of which could be a terrorist organization).

So in case there are bloody coins on the blockchain - the majority has two options:
