Hmmm. I appreciate the help but why not sending money straight to the people/NGO and avoid Airbnb to get also the fees on the transaction?
Which NGO gives money to the people? In such speed? How do you send money to people that you don't even know? Kind of easy to understand the intent, right? You find a place, and you donate to some citizen in the Ukraine money. Tomorrow the money will be in their account. No extra burocracy or step is needed.
In the current situation money is not much useful. The shops are closed. While there are orgs which organize supply to shelters and citizens.
I do know if you give it to the Red Cross it goes into a fund and Ukraine might receive a small part of it. I have been hesitant to give because I want all the money going directly to help people without any overhead. This might be a pretty good idea although we still don't know if the AirBnB host will do what he says.
