marciojmo··on Undocking – Publish agent generated content to the web
Hi guys! I've published Undocking and would love to hear your opinion.

I just thought about creating an agent-agnostic, user-friendly (instead of dev-friendly) publishing platform where any agent can connect via MCP and publish static assets like reports, markdown files, small client apps, etc.

It is open source, so you can self-host it, or you can use the hosted version by logging in with Google or GitHub (I'm still thinking about whether this is even required in the agentic world).

I think there are some interesting features that could be added to the platform, such as analytics, public/private access management, and automatic domain redirection. However, I'm still wondering if this is actually useful for other people.

I've been using it to host simple apps, presentations, and share interactive letters with friends, and I would love to hear your thoughts on this. :)

PS: Large files require that the agent has access to bash because the upload happens using a pre-signed url direct from the client.

Here is an example (A pitch deck generated by Claude Code and posted using Undocking): https://api.undocking.io/marciojmo/undocking-pitch-deck

Thank you!

marciojmo··on Ask HN: How do I overcome mental laziness?
tl;dr: Role play a robot.

Try to block "thinking". Every time you catch yourself "thinking about" instead of doing, stop thinking and do something related to the task. Remove all distractions. Put your phone in another room, close your e-mail and do the smallest thing you can do to move your task forward, don't "think about", just do it, as if tou were a robot. Once you get tired, be satisfied with your progress and relax (release your thinking from prison, Now it is allowed to come in). Practice "I must do this" in other areas of your life as well, without thinking, until you develop grip.

Yeah! I agree! I asked that because I think it's hard to distinguish yourself by solving this general consumer entertainment problem. Seems that all game companies do that, even when thinking about small studios, it is hard to find differentiating factors that does not rely on the game itself.

I also agree that A/B testing is super important! We are following exactly what you have described here http://www.michaelseibel.com/blog/product-development-cycle-... but for a game, and the results are pretty interesting! Specially because we don't need a GDD (a document describing the game), all members of the team are involved in the creation process (and they feel more motivated to work - and believe me, this is big problem in indie studios) and is easier to propose changes and improvements to the game, since them just need to bring us closer to our goal with the game (for example: 20k ad visualizations / day). I'm anxious to get into this A/B testing phase! We haven't launched yet.

Thank you so much for sharing the knowledge! These posts were really valuable and helpful for me! And I think they are complementary!

Hi Michael! What problem do you think a game company is solving? What would be reasonable key advantages at a company level? I.e.: What do you know/have that Zynga (or even smaller studios) don't? lol
marciojmo··on Show HN: Super Space Traveler (Prototype), a platform hell game for mobile
Hi guys! I need a little help from you! Do you think "platform hell" games has audience on mobile? (ex: Kaizo Mario, I Wanna Be The Guy).

I created a prototype to validate this idea, just 3 levels, would you like to test it and give me feedback? (only available for android for now =/)

Here is the download page: https://rink.hockeyapp.net/apps/44ae8090d77346d785f79f1adb6c...

You can join as a tester and receive updates here: https://rink.hockeyapp.net/recruit/9993e469daba41209760e6602...

I've also created a promotional video for the prototype (I hope don't be charged by the use of music "Dream On" LOL): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVwW-GwarPk

Thank you all! =)
