marcin··on Google Wave logo facelift? No, wait - it's the Wallet.
Someone obviously thought that the 'W' concept can be recycled now.
marcin··on Y Combinator Is Boot Camp for Startups
I guess we will all agree that there is an outrageous error in the article. It should not be 'Terminator itself', but 'Terminator himself' rather, shouldn't it?
marcin··on Our Lean Startup
I think you built a very nice business, but 'Lean Startup' as the term everyone is using reflects some guidelines and principles a project should follow - like customer development, learning cycle etc. Lean does not mean 'cheap' or 'without money' - it means lean as an athlete running fast to the finish line.
marcin··on Winklevoss Twins Will Appeal Facebook Case to Supreme Court
yeah, already got that under another post - sorry :)
marcin··on Anti-Facebook Startup Diaspora Promises to "Go Faster"
oh, and you can't check it on joindiaspora, unless they sent you an invite - that is precisely why I asked the question
marcin··on Anti-Facebook Startup Diaspora Promises to "Go Faster"
Interesting - I didn't notice is before on other threads (in most of those I read people clearly stated their origins). Thanks, cause I wanted to get more involved more and would probably hurt myself in the long run :)
marcin··on David Pogue: The Future of Skype
If I remember correctly from the Kirkpatricks Facebook Effect, there is a lot of ego play in those acquisitions. Although I need to say, that it would take a lot of ego out of me to shell out 8.5b :) Marcin / http://linkfindr.com
marcin··on Winklevoss Twins Will Appeal Facebook Case to Supreme Court
I'm sure there are some lawyers doing it just on a success fee basis. The stakes are def high enough.

marcin··on Ask HN: Who is going to Startup lessons learned?
Only on simulcast I'm afraid :(

marcin··on Anti-Facebook Startup Diaspora Promises to "Go Faster"
Is there any place to actually see Diaspora in action?

marcin··on Show HN: Fitocracy, an RPG for fitness
For some reason I can't create the account, but I love the idea - especially levelling up. That's what makes most good training programmes (like CrossFit, which I'm into) successful + peer pressure, which I'm sure you'll provide. Just hope I'll be able to use it one day :)

marcin··on Hiring Great Developers: The Pre-Screening
Wrote it in the post comment, but will write again. The company I helped get traction (Codility) would address many issues people have with remote testing: manual work, some of the cheating and qualitative vs quantitative dilema. I may be biased, due to my former involvement, but it costs nothing to try it, so you can see for yourself: http://codility.com/demo/take-sample-test/
marcin··on AdTaily wants to help publishers turn readers into advertisers
Hello Paras, the blogs that have good communities of returning readers have best results in terms of monetization. So the answer to your question would be long-tail yes, but high quality one. And you are absolutely right that the quantity dilutes the quality. Fortunately most of our publishers are very reasonable when it comes to that :)
marcin··on Fabulis vs Citibank in social media
Analysis of mentions across social media platforms enriched with sentiment graphs etc. All wrapped up in nice UberVU graphs.
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
Don't worry, we have some nasty surprises for the cheaters ;)
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
If an edu focused business case emerges, we will definitely look into it.
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
We're thinking about it. Stay tuned on our blog :)
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
Right now TopCoder is focused on coding competitions. We are focused solely on recruitment - those are pretty separate markets at the moment.
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
That's because the recruiter and the candidate are supposed to be two different people, so the candidate doesn't have the access to the 'dashboard'.
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
You can assign up to 6 tasks per each test, to minimize the 'constraint omission' risk. Does it solve the issue you raised?
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
Good point, thanks for the feedback.
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
Yep, it's good to read the specs in detail ;)
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
We are timing the programs as well - with the scalability assessment. Recruiter can change the timing anyway, but we feel that a bit of pressure is good. You don't always have comfy conditions on the job after all.
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
Sorry, some bug on our end - it should be there. We are fixing it right now. In the meantim - if you sign up for a trial account [http://codility.com/accounts/codility-register/] it works fine there (a blue "add a test case" button in the bottom left).
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
It's blocked elsewhere in the system, so no worries :)
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
Bottom left corner. It's obviously not visible enough :)
marcin··on Codility - Automated tests of programming skills
Well, that's one more reason you should like Codility - you can run test compilations (the VERIFY button) which will show you syntax errors. And in bottom left corner you can apply your test data sets. In other words - you work like in your every day environment. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Do not hesitate to ask us any questions.
