its long enough to become potassium deficient which is not a fun trip, but it should be a trip - to the ER for an IV drip.

I've failed to grasp it enough to explain it to a 5 yr old, but I think i love the idea. I've always cringed at giving a 10 yr old a laptop which simply becomes a conduit to a flash-based gaming in the browser. Activity based programming should be the foundation for years before they touch a PC imho. Its collaborative and fun - so it seems.

Maybe it will be in the realm of VR like First Life

Develop a sense of self importance. It may seem antithetical to who you are but cultivate it a little. It creates drive and purpose via ego. Otherwise you will start and stop forever because ‘nothing matters in the end’, but your newself is about: you matter and what you do matters

Thanks. am considering putting myself through a course or 1:1 coaching for personal development. Not part of a team or HR thing.

Mind if I ask what info/data you are scraping and for what ends?

art can take any form, from poking the viewer to challenge misconceptions and beliefs to anything else. it can be a series of photos of you dropping something sacred and valuable or just a really well done drawing that tool a lot of time and skill.

art is also like music, if there is ANY music you like, then there is an ART you will like.

last. don't feel weird not getting or liking art. you are coming at it from wrong angle.

is the price providing a service or access to a widget. i would imagine I would want to chat with my clients, so just need a widget and backend for user/convo tracking.

Where would you like to be, workwise in 5 years time?

Measure the market. If there is bleed and you can market/reach paying customers/convert etc., go after them, assuming costs to ROI math works out and you aren't over leveraged in case of loss.

$5k/year from digital product ecommerce site (3500 products). i made it in 2012 and it just hums along as ppl buy & download. occasional emails - mostly requests. I need to expand this site to help with kid's college expenses a bit. might as well.

I thought of a travel blog where you can send texts to your a unique # and it will post your msg / pics and location. very minimal but great way to keep track of position that changes often.

Great job!

vic-20 and a stack of Byte magazines with programs to type in. then a C-64 and 300baud Hess modem.

this is a 'gateway drug' to getting a full C=64 system so you can Commodore 64 properly: Karatika, Bruce Lee, Print Shop + Epson dotmatrix printer to make banners

'beating on Trump' is their prerogative as media. stay on topic. this is about hacking and twitter and russia

i use none of the above. sole prop., taxes are easy since I have no empl. or complex expenses. i do maintain business insurance (~$20/mo). my bank keeps hounding me to set up a biz account. I'm too lazy. Its easy to find my deposits and expenses by downloading bank account data as excel.

no adjustment to css? you savage!

you have a fresh perspective to problems and can maybe help him on something. part of a mentee is being an intern

its the same approach the free market has to elder care. they are for profit cash machines with a thin veneer of care. they are run on a shoe string, hiring barely qualified technicians working 12 hr shifts. what could go wrong?

google could use this money to work with state's District Attorneys to go after these bad actors. this is a better solution than engaging in slippery slope of shutting off keywords and the like.

The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, William L. Shirer

under-rated quality: naivete

lack of experience, wisdom, or judgment. "the administration's naiveté and inexperience in foreign policy" innocence or unsophistication. "they took advantage of his naiveté and deep pockets" synonyms: innocence, ingenuousness, guilelessness, artlessness, unworldliness, trustfulness; More

great first impression. your content is very engaging and helped illustrate :) the concept. signed up. Are you funded?

don't try to 'get' it. a poem is like a song. just listen or read it, and the words have meaning or they don't.

eventually you will want more, so you will listen/read with closer attention etc.

poetry is an inside joke.

i imagine you need to convey a few important things: (1) effect of CO2 on atmosphere per what tlb said below and (2) magnitude of CO2 emissions (like telling people 1 part per billion is a eyedrop of water into a swimming pool, etc.)

Can you adjust something in your service so people can't jump in, use it, then never need it again? I don't mean to assume this is what is going on, but I imagine some people may try to get their $ back if they just needed a web tool for a one-off task.

BIL? And any drawbacks to this model?

Does this actually work? I feel I need to have a subject matter expert in the study group like a TA, at the least

this is a great reflection. thank you for sharing this.

you can create a somewhat similar experience with mapbox api
