I find the color scheme and sound combination very pleasing. Maybe I'll write some project documentation with this :)
Client: "Now, this TODO list app is great, but we want something more like Facebook and Linkedin combined"
This is exactly how you get feature creep and is a really bad idea for fix bid projects. But of course it depends on how big a pivot it is and how big a contract it is.
"Can I meet and work directly with the designers and developers on my project?"
Sure, you can meet and get advice from them, but you may not work directly with them. There are some pretty crazy clients out there, and it is the management's job to keep them from driving developers insane. That is why management gets the "big bucks". They have to deal with the crazy.
Well... I no longer have any reason to watch ted videos
Its a great and fun language but it has far too many flaws. Updates to the language specs aren't coming fast enough.
As a hacker and freelancer I can tell you that I would not appreciate programming tests.
There are two reasons why I put up with computers and code: 1)I feel like it. I want to make something interesting 2)There is an incentive. Someone is paying me money for my skills and services.
Taking a test falls under neither of these categories. I see it as a waste of my time and there is nothing to show for it
Also, every single programming test that I have seen is just plain terrible. Not to mention there is no way to enforce against cheating. Therefore making the entire process pointless and a hassle for everyone.
Just my two cents..
Cheers!
Its okay, be strait with me. You won't hurt my feelings.
I don't see how this can work. The only time I see it some-what-working is while gathering a massive (really massive) amount of submissions for a decision involving only two options. Maybe then... but even then it wouldn't be possible to determine the actual percentage of users suggesting one or the other option.
Do these people have honestly nothing better to do with their time?
Have you actually developed any front-end software? I think not...
tsk tsk tsk
