I assumed this would be actual perks like free gym memberships that when purchased in bulk lets the site negotiate for startups.
Doesn't that make more sense.
part time is not ideal if you want this to actually be successful, despite all the votes its getting.
Really we have to trust each company individually that they are using our information responsibly cough Google cough
This is essentially just visualizing the logs most companies are already keeping. To be hyper vigilant:
1) Sign up for a unique email address for each service 2) Don't upload Gravatars 3) Read the privacy policy and TOS of the various services you use to see if you are comfortable with what they are measuring
The truth is, this kind of information is easily overwhelming, but will be useful for customer service and product teams trying to identify where users get lost using a feature, signing up, purchasing a product etc.
so the iframe isn't ssl, and the form doesn't submit to an SSL page either.
furthermore! even if the iframe were over ssl (which it isn't), that still wouldn't be secure. since the outer page isn't over ssl, an attacker could replace the iframe with one that has the same content but points to a non-ssl page. this is why SSL is useless unless the user checks the browser SSL indicator (the green lock in the URL bar)."
I agree with some others that the cheapest for now is buying more HD and keeping them in sync with crashplan or something else, until Google Drive drops a bit further in price for 1tb.
