On my Mac sysctl net.inet.tcp.maxseg_unacked says 8, which I assume is the relevant TCP option. But in the case of a server responding to a HTTP request I suppose the server could set it to basically any value, so why stop at 10? :)

That's not a single roundtrip in any TCP stream I've heard of... Still, a lot smaller than 10MB of course.
Also, I don't understand how it's not a legal requirement to show an easy to understans view of the changes made when a company changes the terms of your agreement with them.
Almost every company sends a "we've updated the terms, yay!" with little to no details on what's actually been changed. A few provide a high-level overview of the supposed purpose of the changes, which I suppose is a start.
iPhones (and I assume most Androids as well) can't be completely powered off. Neither can Macbooks. In fact, I'd guess that most modern digital things with non-replaceable batteries can't be powered off.

Here's an example, a regional map from 1654 including Gothenburg:

It's quite easy to use too: if something is warm when you touch it, it's burning through watts. If you expected it to be sleeping, it's either not sleeping or it's very bad at it. Don't forget the AC adapters, they can be worse than the devices they supply.
Use a high-DPI screen, for starters.
When they introduces this they changed the standard file operations and replaced "Save as…" with "Save a copy" - this was not universally welcomed.

IMHO REACH didn't go far enough, it should be up to the maker of a chemical to prove that it's safe before it's sold and used.
Which is what rules out wifi :)
