lthi747··on Jellyfin founder Andrew leaves team
Well, good luck Andrew and Anthony!

Jellyfin is great project and good software when is working, unfortunately for me it doesn’t works very well. Constantly have issues with playback, files indexing and watch statuses that not marked, but that are small issues compred to the hell with subtitles. Very often out of sync (if they load)

So I switched to nova player and sharing my tv shows and music collection over SMB. It isn’t issueless, but at least more smooth amd leas complex.

lthi747··on Being Muslim in Japan
Countries are in it state because of mix of history, culture, manners and religion. If change one of them, then they will became different places.

I too simply cannot understand why someone would go to place that is clearly not a best fit for beliefs, cultural feel as home, and just try to change it to be more as he/she wish. No offense, but to be honest, that reminds me to a virus behaviour.

lthi747··on Does anybody like React?
So JSX is not proprietary?
lthi747··on Photo GIMP – A Patch for GIMP 3 for Photoshop Users
Yes there are but is just not the same, controls are quite non intuitive, I often got glitches on rendering, so overall UX for me is pretty bad
lthi747··on Photo GIMP – A Patch for GIMP 3 for Photoshop Users
GIMP is the only program that I miss when switched from linux to mac. And GIMP 2.2 was just a perfect for my needs back then
lthi747··on Zed 1.0

lthi747··on High Performance Git
The only thing I miss in git is an uncomplicated sparse checkout, or how svn’s allows to just check specific path.
lthi747··on Doom entirely from DNS records
