log101··on MIT 6.S081 – Operating System Engineering
I wonder why they are not sharing the lecture videos or at least sound recordings. It really helps digesting the material in the readings!
log101··on We need your beginner’s mind
Wow, I felt like I'm listening to myself, thanks a lot for writing this. "Beginner" is an such an important concept.
log101··on Steps Towards Happiness (2015)
I don't know why but the first step--invest in your senses seemed to be most insightful one.
log101··on What’s Vivaldi’s business model?
I was going give Mozilla as an example, thanks for pointing that out. Now please go and check how Mozilla is doing financially :) Even Mozilla is having hard time making profit, Vivaldi is sure is an ambitious project but my point is sorts of income mentioned on the site doesn't mean anything, they need more than bookmarks...
log101··on What’s Vivaldi’s business model?
Did you "really" read it? How much money do you think they make from bookmarks or recommendations?
log101··on What’s Vivaldi’s business model?
Tldr; we don’t make money
log101··on Glean – System for collecting, deriving and querying facts about source code
I didn't understand what it does
log101··on Indie Hackers: Now Invite-Only

Twitter is not suitable for such writings...
log101··on Can't Unsee
Omg this is from "For Business" section of the page:

"Use Can't Unsee to measure attention to detail

Our data suggests that high scores in the Can't Unsee game are correlated with high attention to detail.

You can use Can't Unsee to screen designers, developers, QAs, product managers and other people who job with technology.

This is how it works: after joining our program you'll get a custom link. Share this link with your candidates, and you'll see their results in a dashboard (custom integrations available)."

What kind of writing style is that, this is spying on people. If you're assesing someone, they should be aware of the fact.

log101··on A URL Lengthener
I'm not an advanced programmer, so can somebody explain me why would you collect "insights" for a such made-as-a-joke service.

log101··on Time flies in Google Earth’s biggest update in years
I found the video unneccesserialy dramatic.
log101··on Compressing and enhancing hand-written notes (2016)

log101··on Is It Pokemon or Big Data?
lol :D
log101··on Joyce Project
Really like it but they should add "back to homepage" link to the about page.
log101··on Pro1 X: A Linux smartphone with slideout keyboard
Hmm, is it possible to touch-type on a keyboard of that size?
log101··on Pro1 X: A Linux smartphone with slideout keyboard
What is the advantage of the slideout keyboard? It might save some pixels while you type, but it looks very uncomfortable.
log101··on This Music Video Does Not Exist [video]
It seems great, but these things are not surprising anymore. I hope it will eventually turn into something more concrete than a lava lamp.
log101··on Show HN: Neonpad.io – A neon plain text editor
Shiny.
