lijunhao··on Ask HN: Why my post labled FLAGGED and how to prevent it?
Thank you for your prompt reply.
lijunhao··on An open source vuln scanner in Python: OXO
I think your are right. But oxo is not my project. I am recently curious about vuln and related tools ( I want to add some opensource vuln tools in my project ). I found oxo and share it in hackernews.

I am developing x-cmd in recently three years. And this is the demo of using google's OSV scanner in x-cmd: https://www.x-cmd.com/mod/osv

Welcome to our website.

To be honeset, I'm a bit stuck on how to approach the project promotion. While your advice is tailored for oxo, I'd still like to consider it and see if any aspects could be applicable to my situation.

lijunhao··on Show HN: I make a shell tool to view and manage the PATH in tree view
I am sorry x-cmd currently only focus on terminal.

We have a lightweight shell client, alternative official gh.

https://www.x-cmd.com/mod/gh

You can check the demo. It is not final. We gonna make it more interactive and integrate deeply with LLM.

There is also a list of git tools collected in x-cmd pkg. You can check it out.

https://www.x-cmd.com/pkg/gitui

Notice the list in the left sidebar.

lijunhao··on An open source vuln scanner in Python: OXO
You are correct. It is more like a scanner manager/platform. I am new to this field. Thanks for the correction.
lijunhao··on Show HN: The ultimate match between fzf and gh CLI
I also think searching github.com using search engine is very useful.

You can try it with 'x gh : <interesting topic>'

It will open our duckduckgo client to search the relatic webpage in github.com.

This feature is kind of experimental and not documented in our website. I just visit your gh-s . I think you might like it.

You can also use 'x hn : <query>' to search hackernews in cli. Same design.

lijunhao··on Show HN: The ultimate match between fzf and gh CLI
Hello, you might be interesting in gh module in x-cmd.

https://www.x-cmd.com/mod/gh

Notice, gh module is written in shell/awk/curl. Not based upon the go binary provided by github official.

We enhance tranditional commands with consistent interactive design.

lijunhao··on Shell command explain API: explain your command with man reference from Mankier
It is not LLM powered. I just found it, and it is awesome.
lijunhao··on Mankier: Browse and Search Man Pages in the Browser
We found mankier -- the best man page website after developing our own man website in x-cmd: https://man.x-cmd.com/
lijunhao··on HrrRbSsh: Pure Ruby SSH 2.0 server and client implementation
But the last commit was 2 years ago ?
lijunhao··on Windows Preview has integrated native support for tar and 7zip archives
OK. Next time I will do more investigations before posting the URL .

lijunhao··on Ask HN: Interesting TUIs (text user interfaces), maybe forgotten ones?
x-cmd come with a TUI library and many mod (mostly cli) in x-cmd are powered by this library. You can see the demo in the website.
lijunhao··on The Unsustainability of the AI Bubble
1. The development of emerging industries is difficult to evaluate solely based on short-term ROI.

2. The LLM industry has enormous growth potential that cannot be ignored.

3. Although equipment depreciation is fast, for industry players, the advantage of being ahead by a few months is still invaluable.

lijunhao··on Gemini New Price
1.0-pay has the same price as GPT-3.5, at $0.5 per million tokens for input and $1.5/million tokens for output.

1.5-pay is cheaper than GPT-4. GPT-4-Turbo costs 10/30, while 1.5-pay costs 7/21.

lijunhao··on SHOW HN: A rich TLDR client only using curl/shell/Awk for terminal lovers
Lightweight yet POWERFUL rick TLDR client, powered by x-cmd library.
lijunhao··on State of the Terminal
X-Cmd strives to simplify the terminal experience by leveraging system provided posix shell and awk, minimizing disruption to your workflow and ensuring the least intrusive impact on the environment.

Welcome to the website to take a look at the demos. https://x-cmd.com

lijunhao··on Ask HN: Best thing you've made in CLI
I am developing x-cmd.

Demo website: https://x-cmd.com Code is here: https://github.com/x-cmd/x-cmd

I have spent 3 years on this project. A lot of important modules using sh/awk are introduced, like json parser module, tui module, which make implementing rich but lightweight cli with sh/awk/curl possible.

X-cmd also providing a pkg system with 500+ pkgs. No root priviledge required when installing x-cmd and x-cmd's pkg.

lijunhao··on Ask HN: What underrated open source project deserves more recognition?
55 stars only in Github. I am wondering what's wrong with it.
