lampooned··on Bitcoin: The future of money is at stake
Bitcoin is not the future of money.
lampooned··on Nginx Is Taking Over the Internet
Seems very unlikely. It's open source, so you can review the code and compile it yourself.
lampooned··on Twitter, NYT Whois and DNS altered, Syrian Electronic Army takes responsibility
Facebook's whois result is pretty funny.

   $ whois facebook.com

lampooned··on Chromecast update breaks AllCast
Google basically just made Chromecast less useful than an Apple TV,
lampooned··on The $80 web development workstation
Saying that if you use a Mac, you're obviously a hipster is just fucking stupid.

MacBooks are good laptops. I like them. Using and liking a MacBook doesn't make you a hipster, nor does it make you any less of a "serious programmer".

lampooned··on Hyperloop Update: Elon Musk Will Start Developing It Himself
Nothing he hasn't done before. Virgin Trains basically have a monopoly in the UK.
lampooned··on Ask HN: Twitter archives/dumps?
This is just what I was looking for. Thanks!
lampooned··on Ask HN: How does one create a fake identity?
> Given today's software, it's trivial to fake a "photocopy" of an ID.

How would one even go about doing this? Sounds rather difficult to make a fake ID convincing.

Can anyone share some links on the subject?

lampooned··on Show HN: Bateman, a stock trading system I'm working on
Does anyone think someone extending this to place trades via API would be that horrible of an idea? Seems like it'd be interesting.
lampooned··on Ring of Bitcoins: Why Your Digital Wallet Belongs On Your Finger
This is a horrible idea. This is the Bitcoin equivilent of walking around with the entire contense of your bank account, in cash.

If someone mugged him, those Bitcoins are gone. No reversing of payments, nothing. At least on a computer his wallet could be encrypted.

lampooned··on How I Met 75 Investors and Raised $650,000
Why would a startup so young would blow their money on hiring 2-3 senior level developers?
lampooned··on Microsoft - An expensive error
IE 10 is decent. But, unfortunately, Microsoft still hasn't leaned its lesson and has no plans to support WebGL. This just means IE will trail behind once again.
lampooned··on Meteorite crash in Russia
That is terrifiying.
