kyleee··on Canada Hires 48 Scholars Away from Top U.S. Universities
Why would Canada want these modern day American version of nazi professors and researchers at their institutions? Is this similar to the US embracing Werner von Braun and other nazis to capitalize on their intelligence and research in spite of the fact that they were deplorables?
kyleee··on Tracking Costco gas prices
Costco seems to be a rare responsible organization, treat people decently, don’t gouge customers (they aim for a pretty standard not too high margin), etc. So I know that is definitely a factor for some in terms of choosing Costco as much as possible

kyleee··on 'Pervert glasses': Backlash against Meta's smart glasses grows
It does work 100% of the time, but about maybe 5% of the time people are very very slightly annoyed that I’ve assumed they don’t remember my name. So it’s not totally fool proof but agreed it is a great strategy

kyleee··on Cops Used Flock to Track a Man Across State Lines for a Pretextual Weed Search
And the absurdity of a dog sniffing around the car for contraband. Crazy that’s allowed and taken seriously by the justice system
kyleee··on Why American ambulance rides are so expensive

kyleee··on Tennessee man jailed 37 days for Trump meme wins settlement after lawsuit
You may want to explain a bit better, as stated it sounds like you’d prefer he’d still be in jail: “ See I don't view the guy getting out after 37 days as a success”
kyleee··on Google changes its search box
I’ll bet they intentionally obfuscate so people can’t find the actual sources of info used for the answers
kyleee··on Hardware Attestation as Monopoly Enabler
No doubt there is corruption; but it’s also momentum. There aren’t stable and good alternatives for so many reasons so the duopoly has momentum
