kbradero··on Show HN: Lean4 Datalog DSL Based on Google Zanzibar for AI Projects
Lean4 tactics are related to Clojure/Lisp based macros (https://lean-lang.org/theorem_proving_in_lean4/Tactics/)

Lean4 core is a functional programming lang and Zil it's a DSL implemented ontop, that means it would define a set of abstractions lean4 accepts such as theorems and lemmas, im also learning !

initial implementation uses clojure, I used claude to port it to Lean4 for my projects, it helps AI agents specially well because it allows it to keep context about how concepts are related and define rules and have a query system(datalog) to recover. If you try it pls report back ! if doesnt work, just mention how what what was the context, maybe there's a way to improve it for that case too. cheers and happy hacking.

kbradero··on Show HN: Turn SSH X11 Forward to WebSocket – remote apps flow to you workstation
SSH is not a vpn, ok, but what if you can turn it into one. Applications on your workstation are unreachable from remote server side, that is an app can't just open a connection to talk to your local apps.

Except it can! X11 forwarding does exactly that and I found how to use any standard ssh and allow to forward a websocket socks5 connection that transfers files and events and you can have rules to decide before socks5 make the transfer so it's ssh, but in may view, just the way it was always meant to be :)

kbradero··on We can now edit the human genome – how far should we go? [video]
so basically mutations would be introduced to humankind, not randomly but based X number of ideas controlled by a government and by this removing entropy to our genetic pool.

Virus would love that, yes why no, lets remove the only thing that has keep all living organism on this planet for billions of years from extinction.

kbradero··on ‘Diamond-age’ of power generation as nuclear batteries developed
mm, I remember from a lecture that 'nuclear waste' is actually a label used by the nuclear industry but non all of them can be disposed, some by products can be used as a base atomic weapons.

So all countries with nuclear power plants have to return/control the 'nuclear waste'.

kbradero··on PostgreSQL Index Internals
hey thanks!, tho I agree with this, I was thinking, if there are books about kernel internals there may be some about db internals.

but Thanks for your links !

kbradero··on PostgreSQL Index Internals
is there a book/documents about DB internals ? I have found some books about theory but not about an actual implementation.

kbradero··on Saving fuel with software
wow, thats interesting, any paper/links?
kbradero··on Ask HN: Software developers, What happened when you were fired/laid off?
I was developing systems sw around PCI Express before some projects were cut, big history short I got an offer to leave with a big $ paycheck to sign a resignation letter.

In the next 2 months, I got and interview with Amazon/Facebook and other names but since my application was for a systems position they didn't follow up, after a while I took a position doing Kernel Drivers but have been trying to go into systems (unix/linux requiring deep kernel stuff), seems like is hard for companies to think an engineer can have skills on both low/hi abstraction layers :(

Maybe being from Latin America didn't help either.
