If the insight in the article is actually unique, it'll just get regurgitated by other writers and AIs a hundred times, maybe even with better visuals and diagrams and that'll be the article that gets all the clicks.
When I first heard about Scrimba, I abandoned my project because I thought you guys would already go down that path. Why didn't you guys go down that route?
In the past, if you killed someone, like in a battle, there is a good chance you're going to die in the next battle of the military campaign. Few soldiers survived the military campaigns of the past. Maybe that's why we don't hear much about PTSD among past soldiers.
Maybe Meta's open source segmentation tool would be handy. Maybe you can rig the person/animal/object in the image using one of the object detection tools on HuggingFace.
This seems like a really interesting project. I'd love to check it out if you plan on open sourcing it!
Makes you wonder, does the funding landscape need a new YC level disruption because YC seems to have peeked, return wise (not hype wise).
Maybe AI might be their saving grace if everything works out
When faced with this question, I just decided Farsi seemed a lot more interesting and accessible.
The city is like a giant concrete pool. No rotting wood buildings for rats to move within the walls of.
Are there specific use cases where o1's higher cost is justified anymore?
I shouldn't be speaking for you guys because I'm genZ... but it's probably to do with the new responsibilities and the increased risk aversion that comes with them.
Why does having comparable performance indicate having been trained on a preexisting model's output?
I read a similar claim in relation to another model in the past, so I'm just curious how this works technically.
So I don't think our version is completely free of bias. I'm sure there are many other examples, I just wouldn't be able to point them out, considering the training data fed into ChatGPT was also fed into our human brains.
The Trans-Atlantic slave trade was a very brutal form of slavery. Slavery existed in many forms throughout history and I don't think our current iteration of "employment" and lending is very different from many of slavery's historical forms
It feels like almost ever day that I see a video of a Palestinian's home in the West Bank being demolished or a Palestinian family being harassed by armed settlers
I have a feeling, unless you're dabbling at the cutting edge of AI, there's no point in reading research papers. Just get a feel for how these LLMs respond then build a pretty and user friendly app on top of them. Knowing the difference between "multi head attention" and "single head attention" isn't very useful if you're just using OpenAI or Groq's API.
Am I missing something here? I'd love to know where I'm wrong
Following the news feels more and more like watching a very entertaining tv show, especially with all the plot twists.
I'm just curious, how well does Ruby integrate with AI tools?
I hope their compensation is a little more than $10 a day! By the looks of the fire, those guys/gals are heros.
Turkey has a functioning democracy it's just that most of the population loves populist rhetoric. Erdogan's party lost mayoral elections in all the major cities.
> Solid economics
Turkey had a GDP PPP of $3.45 trillion in 2024 (12th in the world)
> Didn't have the death penalty
Turkey doesn't have the death penalty.
> Found some sort of resolution to conflicts on its borders
The conflict in Syria is resolved in Turkey's favor. The potential conflict with Greece is a different issue though.
I don't think Turkey's EU application being in limbo is because of whatever excuse EU politicians can conjure up at any moment in time. It's because Turkey, if accepted into the EU, would be the most populous country, the biggest country by landmass, the most powerful country militarily, and the youngest country in the EU. Turkish agriculture and manufacturing would be a lot more competitive compared to EU products.
Bed bugs are no joke
There's been a blockade of Gaza. The Israelis determine the caloric intake of the inhabitants of Gaza. Everyone in Gaza has an Israeli issued ID card.
I thought Israel's strategy as it related to Gaza was to "mow the grass" every couple of years. The Dahiya doctrine.
