k8sToGo··on Meta takes down a critical video about meta AI Glasses after filming at Meta
I edited it. It was not clear enough that I am referring to the auto dubbing not the guy.

It's like those reddit translations where I notice it only after a few comments that they got translated ....
k8sToGo··on Meta takes down a critical video about meta AI Glasses after filming at Meta
I think I should have worded my comment differently. I did not mean the guy does not speak dutch, the video was not playing in dutch because of that shitty auto dubbing of youtube.
k8sToGo··on Meta takes down a critical video about meta AI Glasses after filming at Meta
Yes exactly. But YouTube selected some AI translation voice over which I did not realize first. So I was quite confused. Once I selected the original audio it was obvious that he is dutch.
k8sToGo··on Meta takes down a critical video about meta AI Glasses after filming at Meta
Everyone keeps saying he is dutch but he was speaking a different language in the video thanks to automatic youtube dubbing. I was quite confused because not everything was even dubbed correctly. Also its an auto dubbing through AI. Didn't realize it got automatically selected. So annoying.

Realized too late into the video that I had to switch to original track

k8sToGo··on Gemini 3.8 Flash
Because they are preparing Gemini 3.9 Flash
k8sToGo··on U.S. State Department pauses immigrant visa applications
When I was in the US as a student (F1 Visa) that is why I decided to go back home instead of trying to optain an H1B. It was just too risky for too long. I did not want to live a life where I had to expect to leave the next day. Besides, it was right at the beginning when Trump won the first time.
k8sToGo··on Pixel 11 Pro Fold feels like the end of an era
When you open it, it becomes a tablet not a phone. And therein lays your answer.
k8sToGo··on Tailscale didn't stop the Hugging Face intrusion
That makes sense. Thanks!
k8sToGo··on Tailscale didn't stop the Hugging Face intrusion
I am talking especially about the LLM part.

Also a kinder tone in your comments would be more appreciated.

k8sToGo··on Tailscale didn't stop the Hugging Face intrusion
> I use it but feel uncomfortable, that it has large attack surface and LLMs will find exploits in it

Doesn't this apply to any application you use? How would it be different with plain wireguard?

k8sToGo··on Run Kimi K3 using 29 GB of RAM at 0.50 tok/s
Why do you say lazy? maybe they are ok with people seeing it is claude?
k8sToGo··on Grok CLI uploaded the whole home directory to GCS
Yes, that is exactly the point I am making. The agent / cli is confined within the WSL2 environment. How is it "barley" protected? Neither you nor the other guy have yet answered this question.

I never claimed WSL2 is a security sandbox. I am saying running it in a container or WSL2 allows you to severly limit the blast radius. I am not expecting the agent to be malicious, but I am expecting it to do unexpected things.

k8sToGo··on Grok CLI uploaded the whole home directory to GCS
it is not about "security" but it is more about confinement. And how could it do that without sudo rights?
k8sToGo··on Grok CLI uploaded the whole home directory to GCS
Technically open source harness like opencode is more "malwarey" than claude code for example because its default permissions are very open.
k8sToGo··on Grok CLI uploaded the whole home directory to GCS
Why do people run and install these agents locally? No container nothing. I am running Opencode in WSL2 with the windows mounts disabled.
k8sToGo··on GLM 5.2 and the coming AI margin collapse
I use Openwebui
k8sToGo··on Computer use in Gemini 3.5 Flash
The context window size is also very small if you use Gemini in the app. It starts forget quite fast. In my opinion Gemini on app is useless additionally to the guardrails.
k8sToGo··on Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guillemot has died in a plane crash
It is the same reason I decided against getting a motorcycle (I also decided against getting a PPL as well).
k8sToGo··on I design with Claude more than Figma now
Yesterday I needed a tool for a specific task. In 1 hour I created a working tool with antigravity. Is it something I'd publish or sell or offer to others? Probably not, but I found that quite impressive. It is an extension of the idea "now I can program and create everything."

Besides I remember what kind of code we had when we first started coding with AI and now with all these coding agents etc. it has become quite impressive.

However, at the end it is still a tool and needs to be used accordingly.

You hit the nail on the head!
k8sToGo··on Green card seekers must leave U.S. to apply, Trump administration says
The uncertainty is one of the main reasons why I didn't bother to go the F1->H1B route and ended up leaving the US again.... but that was a decade ago.
k8sToGo··on Gemini 3.5 Flash
Are you really comparing flash to opus? Shouldn't you be comparing pro?

I also use it, but I would not call it light and fast.
k8sToGo··on LibreOffice blasts OnlyOffice for working with Microsoft to lock users in
And yet it was OnlyOffice that enabled me to get rid of MS Office and finally switch to Linux fully.
