I have a theory about this. I think what we are witnessing is a GPT-4 conversation being switched over to GPT-3.5 I've seen it mentioned somewhere that due to server load the model could be switched on you. I have had similar experiences. When this happens I start a new conversation and upload the full contents of my code or previous conversation.
