jnettome··on Show HN: gtlds.fyi – All the proposed new gTLDs
What we really need is one char TLDs so we bring back WWW

eg: www.x

jnettome··on Show HN: I serve my website with a swarm of ESP32 microcontrollers on a shelf
That’s really nice! Love to see the dashboard as well
jnettome··on Show HN: Rdio – an open-source internet radio control suite
Congrats on launch, as a fan of online radios and after trying to launch my own is refreshing to see more open source initiatives for this. I have used AzuraCast that time.
jnettome··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (August 2026)
I applied about two months ago and genuinely loved the interview process. Unfortunately, I stumbled during one of the final interviews with the CTO and didn’t make it through. The bar is incredibly high, but the team and the company are truly impressive. I hope I’ll have another chance to apply in the future. (And the book is awesome)
jnettome··on Scorched Earth 2000 – Web
This bring me back so many good memories! Thank you!
jnettome··on Brazil's Pix payment system faces pressure from Visa and Mastercard
How difficult is for USA administration learn good practices and initiatives and think into implementing those? And also, why Master and Visa haven’t came with a solution where they integrate with all of that and innovate?

This idea that all they do should be de facto standard for the whole world is so démodé.

jnettome··on I gave every train in New York an instrument
Wow! I really like this! I have been practicing with sounds in a similar context: I have made the GitHub contribution graph as an space visualization and a music generated based on the graph [1]

jnettome··on Blackholing My Email
I love your work! Thanks for the huuuuge work on de_dust2!
jnettome··on Show HN: Coding Planets – turn GitHub contributions into sound and space
I'm here to share any details you might have and see your planets
jnettome··on Someone at BrowserStack Is Leaking Users' Email Address
On top of it my email address is .me so is very common to when I finish spelling my e-mail, people waiting for .com
jnettome··on Ask HN: Who is hiring? (April 2026)
Same feeling here and similar experience
jnettome··on The dead Internet is not a theory anymore
That’s basically what Valve does on cheaters with premier accounts on cs:go/cs2. And the revenue still growing up.
jnettome··on Brazil's Supreme Court finds Bolsonaro guilty of plotting military coup
Finally! That's what not only Brazil but the whole world needs.
jnettome··on Async Queue – One of my favorite programming interview questions
thanks for sharing and by reading the blogpost and the comments I think I get the whole point: it's all about how engineers understand the requests and the reasoning about how does it approach that more than the code itself. If this raw code really works or not it's almost secondary here - IMHO nobody I'll start coding a real queue out of blue like this.
jnettome··on Show HN: BunkerWeb – the open-source and cloud-native WAF
I just love this project! BunkerWeb was a huge help when I was self-hosting my products with Docker Swarm. It offers tons of configuration options—especially useful for those needing a WAF and dealing with heavy bot traffic.

Since moving to Kubernetes, I haven’t used or evaluated it there yet, but kudos to the team for continuing to update and improve the project. Keep up the great work!

jnettome··on Show HN: Asdf Overlay – High performance in-game overlay library for Windows
I was thinking into apply this overlay on cs2, but I'm really afraid of VAC ban. Maybe try to hook on another know application as discord overlay or steam overlay itself?
jnettome··on Show HN: Asdf Overlay – High performance in-game overlay library for Windows
I've tried to implement this so many times, and it's always been a pain. I really like this Rust implementation — I'm going to take a closer look and run some tests now. Congrats on the launch!
jnettome··on FLUX.1 Kontext
I'm trying to login to evaluate this but the google auth redirects me back to localhost:3000
jnettome··on Show HN: OpenFreeMap – Open-Source Map Hosting
Right on time! Thank you and congratulations for your release. I was looking for gmaps and mapbox alternatives this morning and right now I'm considering this.
jnettome··on Blazer: Business intelligence made simple
kudos for ankane! I make use of his gems on every single project I run. Ahoy is great too!
jnettome··on Open-source canvas drawing web app, built using React
This tool is super straightforward and I just love it. A killer feature to me is the ability to export the canvas source code.
jnettome··on Why companies move off Heroku (besides the cost)
we have been using caprover for 6 months, until we got the first overload and I had to find what exactly was happening during an outage. I love the solution but decided to "go by myself" after this.

currently using a combination of docker swarm, traefik (via service labels) and portainer.

totally in love, doing good for our needs (1 monolith, 12 microservices)

jnettome··on People think they're calling restaurants directly but Grubhub is getting a fee
Same here in Brazil.
jnettome··on The History of the Zeebo, Brazil's First Videogame Console [video]
I do remember another clone, polystation, that was found here in Brazil as well. (I'm not sure if is Brazilian)
jnettome··on Retail Arbitrage at Walmart [video]
Aviãozinho
jnettome··on How to Validate Demand for Your Product
Thanks Mike! So, seems like it increases both disk and cpu use after some time. If the user just read the article and go out I don't think that they saw it occurring.

And thank you for the article. Simple, well written and right on point. Keep it going ;)

jnettome··on How to Validate Demand for Your Product
I let this tab open on my Chrome and it just used 3GB of data, 97% of CPU after some time. Is somebody facing the same?

jnettome··on How to Develop an App Like Instagram
IMHO MVP means a product that users can use, but not full-blown scalable platform. [2]
