jjsz··on Prim (YC S13) Does Your Laundry. Pickup, Wash, Fold, Delivery, Awesome
Though by that time, with their customer base, they can guarantee bulk economical washing machines directly from manufacturers, discounted rental space, and hybrid or electric cars to further cut down costs.
jjsz··on Ask HN: How many internet-connected microphones are near you at this moment?
Two:

1- SGS3- I9300 [AOSPA] {1 mic; 2 cameras}

2- Dell Inspiron- 1121z [Arch Linux] {1 mic; 1 camera}

I'm expecting a targeted add to sell me plastic camera covers and white noise mic aux ins later on the road because of this post. It's all good.

jjsz··on Would you trust a software developer in shorts?
Not sure how Sutherland Global Services' Activision Department, the original one in Rochester Tech Park- not Canada, is doing- but around AT&T and other customer service providers we were the only ones who were able to wear anything. It ran as a startup when it first launched. It made us look less professional and things were more informal, but people were themselves and got the job done. Not sure if this relates but you get the idea.
jjsz··on Show HN: Thinkerous - Collaborative ideation and think tank
Arrange a meetup at the most prestigious school in your area.
jjsz··on The Locust Economy
Thanks, if it wasn't for your comment I wouldn't have subscribed. On Feedly [0] he only has 2k subscribers. If anyone knows similar blogs like this, I'll like to know where I can find them. There really needs to be a Discovr [1] Blogs. It would be just as great if they get pinged and they say they're working on it :-). Currently I'm subscribed to H+ [2] and Singularity Hub [3]. I made a Reddit post asking the same question recently. [4]

jjsz··on Welcome to the ‘Sharing Economy’
Looking at Wikipedia, he did get some recognition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosumer#General_meanings.
jjsz··on Welcome to the ‘Sharing Economy’
The sharing economy is also known as the collaborative consumption based economy, a directory of websites I found a while a go: http://www.collaborativeconsumption.com/directory/.
jjsz··on Fake Signs On Bay Area Highways Say Drones Looking For Speeders
Right. 4 shots. A man will never do that. He would have kicked the dog slightly and tell the owner to put him back in the car...but 4 shots. The governments security are merciless.
jjsz··on Show HN: BitJoy
Do you know of an economic or finance course that can help me understand how to use Bitcoin or any other currency. There's all the articles explaining Bitcoin but none treating it like a foreign currency and teaching how to apply foreign trade. I'll just search foreign trading at the library in the mean time...
jjsz··on Fuck Off As A Service (FOAAS)
I thought this was going to be a list of all the services who can fuck off, like AT&T and Time Warner Cable, with an API to either: launch a DDoS attack at them, formally fuck them off by sending them a letter or a proper complaint to the correct address, while connecting your social media accounts with the correct hashtags- updating your status. Telling actual _people_ to fuck off caught me off guard...then I got the joke of applying an API to everything, especially if it's easier to do it in person...You should add mailing real letters if enough people request the service.
jjsz··on Ouya console review: "Pass on it"
Yeah, no sweat. Supposedly games like FF will be Ouya optimized so I'm imagining FFIV will have better graphics. We'll see, it might turn out like the 3DS and have games come a little late.
jjsz··on Ouya console review: "Pass on it"
I found this forum [0] that lists Android USB sticks, which are more portable than the Ouya, and cheaper. This "Tronsmart CX-919 Quad Core Google Android 4.2.2 OS Rockchip RK3188 Cortex A9 1.6GHz Mini TV BOX Dongle HDMI HDD Player 2G/8G BT/HDMI/External Wifi Antenna-Blackis" is $65 [1].

jjsz··on Ouya console review: "Pass on it"
Yeah, this market, back then was the handheld market. If I remember correctly the Gameboy Advance SP was around that price. Really, as processors go up and decent tablets become cheap, a mini 7 inch with a DualShock will suffice.
jjsz··on Ask HN: Anyone use Search HN before submitting articles to prevent duplicates?
I guess I'm blind for not noticing it.
jjsz··on Business Tactics They Don’t Teach in School
OT, but life-long learning / education is usually attributed to autodidactism (which can be represented in http://degreed.com/). Thanks for the post though. Anecdotal articles are hard to enjoy but this one was ok.
jjsz··on Peru To Power 2 Million Of Its Poorest By Solar Energy
I wish I can say the same energy, engineer, and infrastructure related comment about Puerto Rico.
jjsz··on Show HN: Introducing Q.js, a library for modern web apps
This is where you ask yourself "would I like if someone releases a product with the exact same name as my company's and moved us to the second page of Google?".
jjsz··on Probably not for hackers
There are sites like codrops, cssdeck, and css-tricks but unfortunately a 'Hack a Day for software' doesn't exist.
jjsz··on Hackaday Editors Launch Campaign to Buy Site
This correlates to this comment [0] from the recent "Probably not for hackers" post [1] [2].

> [...] I would pay for a site that was only hard-core tech articles.

Well here's the chance.

jjsz··on So You Wanna Build a Crowdfunding Site
Crowdhoster is a fork of selfstarter bit it's behind a request form.
jjsz··on Do call yourself a programmer, and other career advice
You're X AND Y. Not just Y. Just like someone here on HN who worked on their double bachelors of Math AND Physics while there was a minor called Math-Physics. S(he) worked hard for that and.
jjsz··on So You Wanna Build a Crowdfunding Site
They forgot about Crowdhoster. Or using BalancedPayments' APIs.
jjsz··on Do call yourself a programmer, and other career advice
The trend extends to other words. Sometimes I hear Programmers calling themselves Computer Scientists or Computer Engineers [1] [2] [3] when in different cases they are a Developers or a Hacker. Which they get wrong too. You are what you are. of you're acting another role you should state that you're playing that role not that you are.

Ex. Computer Scientist, who can fill the role of a Programmer.

This discussion keeps popping up [4] [5] , but the definitions are clear. I believe there's a Wikipedia article somewhere that explains all the differences.
