CRANE first. If the A and E are not both present and there are no green consonants,
HOIST, else figure out a word that tests common di- or triglyphs (ch, cri) based on known letters that also contains O.
Bought a stock p5a, stuck on Graphene through the web installer, added apps from F-droid and Aurora. No Google stuff. A hell of a lot of apps run without even installing the Google services framework, and Aurora sure helps: anything requiring GSF is noted in the app descriptions.
Any of several alternative OSs have small-to-no ties to Google, though Google is a heavyweight in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
E.g. my phone runs GrapheneOS, and it is doing that while I am not logged in to a Google account, running any Google-branded software, or seeing any pings to the panoply of xxx.google.com sites.
Check out CalyxOS or DivestOS as well.
It has been tried, but failed to pass in a bill in Indiana in 1897. [0]
Such a bill would probably pass now in Indiana, and many other states, given the wishful thinking on so many other issues that can't be resolved by legislation, but that's not for the want of trying.
Yep. Armor and ground support A/C have been shown much more vulnerable to shoulder-launched countermeasures than they were even ten years ago, and it isn't even close, though I hate to see A-10s rendered obsolete - for that is what they are, now.
So very many applications! One is it will make lashing up an approximately-OK control system easier early in a project. There are five or six machine designs in my past where having a rudimentary control system was needed for initial testing. This would have saved days or weeks on each one.
Do you not find the dispersion of ratings more interesting than the averages? Within most sites that promote ratings there is often a standard-ish dispersion, and an outlier is of far greater concern to me than the average. A solid 3 for a budget restaurant is of far lower concern than a bathtub distribution, which suggests your visit is a crapshoot.
Link sent Chromium-based Vanadium to some sort of catch-all Reuters site instead of crashing as it did with Bromite. First time I recall having seen such a wack behavior.
Needed to be said. I will not buy a post-2012 car because of the invasion of nanny features and telemetry. Current rides: 2003 Tacoma truck, 2005 Subaru wagon.
I use Grapheneos. The Matrix room #grapheneos:grapheneos.org is everything strcat says it is: yet get used to OpenBSD or Arch levels of "RTFM" as responses to queries. To be fair the docs at grapheneos.org are fair (nothing like OpenBSD's), but without a good grounding in infosec terms of art, they will be between strange and unintelligible. Backscroll search is vital.
Then this seems to mean that the 'Dialer' function in a lot of Android phones separates functionality at the wrong point, is that right? Having 'Dialer' as selectable should not include the ability to select what ought to be a hardware requirement to be able to dial 911. If this is true the whole pachanga falls firmly in Google's court.
There is a parallel to this comment that is not much thought about in mechanical CAD: some designers use tools that get the job done, but the model breaks if you look at it funny. It is all too easy to fall in this trap unless management is willing to pay for models that are maintainable and not just quickly moved out the door. Asking engineers to use the "principle of least astonishment" and develop work others can maintain is difficult at first. It's inculcating the idea of model maintainability and then supporting it against budget constraints that takes the work.
And yes, they do. The filesystem of the original ipod convinced me that Apple didn't want to build computers that played music but instead wanted to mediate their influence. A site "anythingbutipod.com" convinced me to go forward with Cowon music players. And so it goes, if you want a real pocket computer that does what you wish, it isn't apple.
Whatever is going on with the Navy, it doesn't seem to be well understood by flag officers. There have been far too many reports of crew exhaustion and confusion, too many reports of faulty or ill-designed user interfaces, and too little exhibition of loyalty downward from flag ranks toward the people who act to keep the ship afloat and moving.
Is crew retention decreasing? It is hard to imagine people putting up with conditions in the Navy while there are so many stories like this going around.
Keyence is my go-to for a number of sensors. Their datasheets are always borne out by the sensors' performance. I never hesitate in ordering their equipment.
It means something, which in this case means "taste is individual". I prefer to take the advice of my green tea supplier, who tells me to use 75°C water for brewing my tea. Using other advice is up to the user. Not my monkeys, not my circus.
It's just odd that one would not make green tea at anywhere near the right temperature. Green tea is simply not comparable with black; they are fundamentally different. It is as if there were an ISO standard on the quality of fruits and they are "compared" by assessing color (deviation from yellow is a fault, increasing by reflected wavelength difference).
