NET-DK/1.0 Error: 404 Not Found This is your life.
Do what you want and do it often.
If you don't like something, change it.
If you don't like your job, quit.
If you don't have enough time, stop watching TV.
If you are looking for the love of your life, stop; they will be waiting for you when you start doing things you love.
Stop over-analysing, life is simple.
All emotions are beautiful.
When you eat, appreciate every last bite.
Life is simple.
Open your heart, mind and arms to new things and people, we are united in our differences.
Ask the next person you see what their passion is and share your inspiring dream with them.
Travel often; getting lost will help you find yourself.
Some opportunities only come once, seize them.
Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them, so go out and start creating.
Life is short, live your dream and wear your passion.Primary Stack: Ruby (worked with Rails and Sinatra), JavaScript MVC (worked with AngularJS, Backbone.js, & KnockoutJS), PostgreSQL. I'm a seasoned full-stack developer with a decade of experience building high traffic websites for fortune 500 clients. Co-founded and lead engineering at a digital agency before. Experienced in team building & technical leadership by having been part of several start-up founding teams. Looking for a hands-on leadership role where I get to build a tech stack and dev team from ground up.
Although there has to be a distinction made between using the latest technology and how you choose to architect and design a product with that technology.
I've seen super complicated web architectures with something as widely used as PHP. So it's not so much about what tools you use but rather how you use them. Choose the right tool for the job while keeping the business constraints in mind.
1) I make a few bucks a month off my reddit client: http://www.ruddl.com - I pay $0 for hosting on Heroku so I'm more or less net positive.
2) I also make a few bucks off my blog in tips: http://jes.al/blog/
I'm working on ideas for a SaaS product or even a book to add to that list.
We should talk about how to collaborate our efforts.
