“What’s a filezilla?”
“go here, drop files there” instead of “download this, put this here, connect, drop your files here” makes the difference between people using your service and not using your service.
It could go both ways. I can never change though; saying sorry is too simple for me
I wouldn’t underestimate the drug, not anymore - doing a detox made me realize how it’s still a drug that does stuff to your brain and possibly your body.
Of course, YMMV.
Memory has never really been an issue for me, unless I try to `grep` a very (VERY) big file or something. Which makes sense, right?
Memory pressure is in the green, "using" 11GB (App: 6, Wired: 2, Compressed: 3). Not swapping at all.
Slack, which as you mentioned has "Slack Helper (Renderer)" uses 250MB.
Even with 8GB this would still work perfectly fine. Biggest user is PHPStorm with 4GB.
I feel like people are using their experience with 8GB on other platforms and projecting their experience to other people. I feel like MacOS memory management is VERY on-point.
I think so - it didn't say that before I refreshed the page about a minute ago.
It happened to me with programming games; I entered competitions and even won one or two, making me believe I'm just SO good.
Now that I'm 30+ years old I still crave that same level of recognition which is basically unobtainable for me now as I'm just another cog in the system. Sure, I have some nice projects here and there and I get a compliment out of that some time, but never on the level I received while I was young.
I think it's incredibly important to give people advice on what could be improved, while still being respectful / praising of the work that's already done. That's how, in my opinion, you get a balanced individual.
Oh well!
Disclaimer: I don’t own NFTs.
It's not hard to understand, yet, people find it "weird". I guess it ties in with the still-prevalent thought that mental wellbeing is something you don't really talk about. It's shameful to some people to say you're depressed, or seeing a psychologist.
Tarot AND psychologists have helped me tremendously in my depression. Tarot in particular has helped me far more than any psychologist could, just because it makes me understand where I am, what I'm stuck thinking about, and how to move forward.
