I'm looking for someone in the LA area with good ideas that (bonus) has positive impact. I have development + consulting experience and am interested in product strategy.
I can see how this could work, however do you think one would feel similarly confident in hitting quarterly goals / OKRs without such estimation/sprints?

Willing to relocate: Unlikely
Technologies: Former front-end developer and graphic designer (adobe suite, react, node)

Interesting, wonder if that's because Coursera is perceived and thought of as better in general or is it due to other reasons such as general popularity. May make sense to have some kind of normalization to unbias it if the latter.
Agreed, this doesn't seem to me `ultra-lightweight` vs normal slack after looking at Activity Monitor as a quick comparison. However, the dark theme is nice to have.
Author must not have been aware that the Pixel has been doing this for years already. This is just Apple copying Google. Reading "Apple is smart." makes me cringe.
I believe this is a tradition that has been grandfathered into voice chat apps. Previous ones like Ventrilo have you actually connect to a private server (that someone pays for / hosts).
