Don’t forget Discord! I finally got my entire family in a server on there.

Now i wish i hadn’t used my audible credit for the month. the sample is great

US = (mostly) AIM

UK = (mostly) MSN MESSENGER

correct me if i’m wrong.

Using `pipenv`[0] may solve some of your problems, though idk about provisioning cpp dependencies. [0]https://github.com/pypa/pipenv

Twitch provides a good solution to this in someways.

It's highly interactive, especially with IRL channels, and the options for interaction are following, subscribing (which is following but with a $$ donation per month + perks), and chat.

Many streamers have links in their chats automatically blocked, and there's a good variety between small streamers with sane chats and streamers with hundreds of thousands of viewers who's chat is much more similar to Twitter's reactionary dynamic.

I mean rear-view and side mirrors are the eyes in the backs of our heads, though a level 5 self-driving car would be as you say.

Discord, is great, works well with groups up to 40,000 and can work as a simple IM messenger, though you still have everything from the group message features as in Slack.

Keybase chat works with both direct messages and team messages on mobile

a site that fosters real, thoughtful discussion requires moderation - if you compare the amount of clickbait on Facebook vs the general helpfulness of articles on Hackernews, one is moderated, one is designed for maximum interaction.

not exactly a great logic question

i only know from learning about it, but round manhole covers prevent them from falling through the hole by consisting of a curve of constant width. Another example is the Reuleaux Triangle which is a viable shape for manhole covers. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reuleaux_triangle

the answer to why QR codes are a thing now is basically this.

The true point of imagining the login.gov will become the defacto standard for Oauth is the same reason why Tinder was Facebook login only. It's more secure and easier for people to use when they only have one login. The consolidation of most internet logins to login.gov gives the US government more power that it shouldn't have. All you need to do is look at Google. It's not necessarily an everyday appearance, but Twitter is full of accounts of Google revoking access to accounts with no warning, and no effective or efficient way to appeal.

Wouldn't it be entertaining if the SSN leak was just a really clever PR boost for the Trump administration?

I'm certainly entertaining conspiracy theory level ludicrousy, but it is entertaining.

This is obviously the device Juicero was meant to create. A physically overengineered, easy to use printer with ecologically friendly ink cartridges. Their design philosophy is perfect for it!

A ridiculously simple, but good notes app I've found is https://standardnotes.org

Try https://xeroshoes.com

https://pinboard.com has an archive feature and full text search though it doesn't have the features of Readability. It doesn't strip the webpages, but I use Safari's Reader Mode or Firefox's to read them.

One option is to use the infinite garage of https://craigslist.com

There's https://thriftbooks.com

I mean... there is Franz.

One good thing is that we are moving towards where most devices will have USB type c as a port, so that mobile devices, laptops, and desktops can all share keys.

It doesn't. The $139 windows laptop Microsoft is coming out with later this year will.

I would call them alive. They might not be happy everyday. There is always time to be sad, and to be angry, and to just stare into the void and realize how screwed up life is sometimes, but I would say that if you have a higher calling, it's much easier to be happy in a less hedonistic way.

Actually: yeah, I just basically described contentedness. Though there is definitely a difference between contentedness and complacency.

There's a similar MacOS app called Numi that's a bit more polished.

The actual Bluetooth connection is coming from the case, which allows it to have a stronger signal due to a larger antenna and battery.

I'm just impressed that this is a 2-3 hr task.

I just think it's wonderful that this launched within hours of someone recommending twitter be turned around by being the go-to solution for interacting with and watching live tv.

You have a good point. As a specific solution to that problem though, I would suggest Rufus. It runs without system privileges.
