Has anyone stopped to question how much potential waste is being produced from unsold/returned item stocks marked for recycling or ending up in a landfill? I've also heard of bulk pallets being sold on the secondary market as "mystery boxes"..

I came to a similar conundrum and concluded that a split across two Google accounts was necessary to keep youtube subscriptions and recommendations in check. Initially, I wanted to separate betwween personal and work but it has now more or less turned into a generic filter between intelligent and casual topics. Incidentally, political content along with it's secondary and tertiary discourse gets the same treatment with little to no exceptions.

So how would an "anonymous group" benefit from signing an "ethereum address to reduce ambiguity"? Ambiguity from what context?

I am still openly questioning the nature of blockchain and open ledgers: trivial associations with transaction activity and address history can be had or via more complex analysis with clustering, modeling, etc (ie: Chainalysis). I used to think that a simple signature confirmation claiming "this is my email address" would be okay for solicited communications but what would happen if the channel used becomes adversarial?

Apologies but I'm failing at framing my own argument here as I'm confusing the intersection and implications of the current "NFT art" craze that's been happening. For example, some Tezos-based art projects are in reality minting your signature on the blockchain with an asset they host on an external source, eg: ipfs. You own the signature but do you really want to publicly "own" something controversial and perhaps illegal within your country's jurisdiction?

If only they would frame it as an environmental concern/issue as well, eg: properly dealing with e-waste. Why purchase a device that can be systematically deprecated within a short life cycle when such things can be repaired and/or otherwise be repurposed?

Signing in this context would be debatable, in that it may call into question of how much one would (personally) be willing to risk ownership claims of a crypto asset or content.

Outside of social media, iirc, there was footage of certain political figures such as then Gov. Cuomo publicly rejecting the vaccine deployment in his state, during Trump's administration. Since people relied on social media more often than cable TV, I suppose there were lots of amplified "lost in translation" moments.

A simple keyword search of "Trump vaccine" on reddit yields massive cognitive dissonance and a sociopath would conflate their bias from all the subreddits the keywords are found.

There were a few stories that called into question the effectiveness of these tests ranging from PCR, antibody, antigen, etc.

How about splitting the difference like locking the bootloader at point of sale with guaranteed period for updates? After the period has lapsed, allow users to unlock the bootloader to extend with custom software upgrades or, a subscription base to continue with original POS policy.

This weirdly intersects for the Right to Repair movement, or for consumers whom would rather be conservative on new device purchases and software licenses.

Materialistic used to be able to cache articles and comments when you saved a story (for offline consumption) but that is no longer the case. I've also only been able to export the list of stories *once* before as that feature is more or less broken at this point.

Not a comprehensive collection; there are repositories of classic winamp skins scattered throughout the web. I myself still keep copies of every skin I've used in Qmmp.

Tim Pool recently did a segment with Drew Hernandez detailing the potential that this might be a set up. In their scenario, both political parties will claim victory but the extremely biased mainstream media will "finalize" their narrative while the other will be instantly silenced.
