I lived in a city with a "trolley" that turned out to be a bus painted like a trolley and I've heard of others with the same experience. I have to laugh when I see a city advertise it's trolley service when in reality it is nothing of the sort.
Even if donations were meant to offset capital gains it is still a generous act. I think it is impossible to make the statement "There's likely no generosity here" without knowing more information.
I agree with the adoption of a sport. If BJJ is not quite up your alley may I suggest running? 5k, 10k, half marathon, marathon... which ever you can see yourself enjoying most. I've tried running, BJJ (blue belt), crossfit (injured myself), softball, flag football, and soccer and I alway come home to racing. There is nothing quite like it. When I, as a man in my mid 30's am racing down the last 100 meters against a 65 year old I can't help but think they have found the fountain of youth. The confidence, friendships, and experiences races build are things you can treasure forever. The only drawback I have found is the emaciated look that serious runners develop after prolonged training (months to years). It does sound vain but in reality that is what has kept me from pursuing it even more competitively. I'd love to hear the thoughts of other runners out there, is this an issue you struggle with?
Now based on this article lawmakers can cite the dangers of drones. This is ammunition to fund and agenda. Don't bother with trying to piece together this dribble, it is propaganda at its finest. Look at the outlet. They have a vested interests in restricting drones access to encumbent powers.
The situation is bullshit the way it is presented in the article. A HRT would have been large news on the outskirts of Denver with plenty of local news coverage. The "gang" would have had plenty of air time. I'm not saying a situation did not occur, I'm saying not as how it was presented.
Of AP, IB and dual enrollment AP is by far the worst option. There is a cumulative test at the end of the year where if you do not score high enough you won't receive college credit where as IB and dual enrollment focus on the content of the course throughout the semester to.award credit (and sometimes a cumulative project). Aced your AP class but perform poorly on the test, no credit for you!!! Also the tests cost hundreds of dollars extra. You might ask what does "not scoring high enough entail"? The answer is it is arbitrary. The test is scored 1-5 with 5 being highest and schools pick a range of 3-5 to award credit.
I think we have all learned the era of cheeky hijinks like these is over. Trespass in a building like they did and you might just be reading about yourself on the internet in a whole different context, with an unflattering mugshot to boot.
Replying to my reply. What I mean is the phrase "extremely brilliant" could be restated as just "brilliant." This wasn't a slight on your comment, I'd also like to hear some examples.
Tried out KSP and just couldn't get into it. I may be the only one but there was absolutely way too high a curve to jump right in and have some fun. I did over half their tutorials and could not improvise at all based on what I had learned. Not much fun when I have to go watch a YouTube video to figure out my next step in career mode.
It's not that it is underrated, the paradigm has moved past manually grabbing bits of the DOM and updating them. Today, it is all about two way databinding. You have a variable that lives in your controller and when he is updated so is the DOM, automatically. I'm glad jQuery has been put to pasture because you end up writing way less code which is way more maintainable.
Since reddit banned deepfakes, including SFW content, does anyone know where the community is now congregating? The appeal of the technology from online avatars to cheaper cgi is undeniable. Is this a case of throwing out the baby with the bathwater?
