Only thing unappealing about it to me is the logo
What an utterly joyless way to look at the world.
It sure as hell isn't going to be Nvidia who hold all the cards as far as CUDA based computing goes.
People who want to use this tech will go where the tech is, people even switch away from Mac to Windows to access this tech.
Not so sure about this. Wasn't it just designed to broadcast messages among people who knew each other. The celeb focus came later.
I'd also say it doesn't help that your onboarding focuses greatly on what celebs you're going to engage with on the service.
All 3 examples here are excellent but I want to say I know a lot of people hate on Destiny but the art direction, environmental art, creature design is all magical in terms of tech and results. Honestly feels like concept art brought to life and anyone dismissing it and not even giving it a chance just are missing out on some seriously impressive visuals resting perfectly between realistic and stylistic.
Smug statements about how wasteful people not living in these fringe conditions are always remind me of the Soylent founder lecturing about how doing laundry wastes water while also reordering all his clothes from china when they get dirty. [1]

Not that a user should have to know "only enter your password into the black keyboard", which can also be faked mind.
Actually think in this space the norm is actively going gender neutral.
e.g a guy I interned for 10 years ago who I never spoke to/added on FB keeps showing up in my Insta suggestions. It's actually a bit unnerving and makes me worry who my account is suggested to.
Quicktime X can't even open a plain .mov file without "Converting" it.
Embarrassing is an understatement, I'd say it's overtly consumer hostile https://d2w9rnfcy7mm78.cloudfront.net/1000779/large_7cbe8b3f... 2012 Mac Mini on the left; 2014 Mac Mini on the right. The unscrewable bottom was one of the championed features when this design initially launched
It's pretty obvious the iMac Pro was supposed to replace the Mac Pro lineup (despite having all the same problems) then at the last minute they decided to start working on a New New Mac Pro.
Not sure who has this vision if it's Tim, Ive or someone else but whoever it is they don't respect the idea of an actual computer like Jobs did. From what has been reported Cook doesn't even use a laptop anymore.
If these things can outperform on passive cooling why are we not seeing people building farms out of them with active cooling.
Medium looks excellent but yeah not amazing enough to outweigh being owned by FB. Still pretty disappointed VR tech innovations are just being locked up into proprietary camps.
My point is more that why make a big deal about shipping dead tech to the laptop if this truly is what they consider the future and a better system.
In reality it's probably that the camera is positioned just right so that it's obscured.
They did the same thing when they made the iMacs skinny, just show them at the exact angle to hide the giant butt on them and make them look razor thin.
Could have just made the laptop camera up to scratch for this like Surface books are.
I feel we're being sold a compromise and until they failed to get a Touch ID sensor below that screen this was plan B.
I got forced into going Windows for GPU powered 3D rendering because Apple isn't interested in my business.
This is just the first step, things are about to get much worse.
I now just carry two pairs of headphones everywhere, one for my Apple laptop and one for my Apple iPhone.
Even tried the Beats X, W1 chip was all hype it's barely any different from regular bluetooth and juggling with then UI to turn headphones on and off is more tedious than just plugging something in and living with a cable, so those are collecting dust now.
Didn't want to buy another dongle because that would just prove to Apple that people are happy with the dongle.
