You can have groundbreaking ideas without "disrupting" every single part of your work life. Assuming large groups of people can't think for themselves is both short sighted and insulting. Not everyone is in the position to push their views on their environment without repercussions.
I'm pretty sure a janitor or administrator can think for themselves really well. It's their bosses that limit their subordinates, not the employees limiting themselves.
If I understand it correctly: The Dutch government tried a similar project. Failed. Then based on seeing your open source project they are starting a company to monetize the open source project you proved works?
Perhaps I'm missing some information but isn't this the whole purpose of open source that anyone can use it to build anything? (and the purpose of patents to restrict other (for profit) organizations to use your IP?)
Does anyone know of a self-hosted interface like Dropbase or Airtable?

By giving everyone enough to live and not starve, you can do that. Without needing bureaucracy. It goes together with other great ideas like a minimum livable wage[0], pensions, public education and public healthcare.
If we are the rich west, why can't we just take care of everyone? we'll still be plenty productive. And if you want more go work, go study, go for competitive jobs.
When working remotely think ahead and assume your issue/question isn’t as important as you think it is. Because most of the time questions for colleagues aren't as urgent for anyone except you.
How can we trust triplebite with our career, finance information and personal information when you pull these kinds of moves. Make a good product. If it's actually good people will sign up.
Do you have a good method for this?
Keep in mind though problems also show up with waterfall or young small startups. Its just which flavor of friction/pain project issue you are willing to deal with
And you could just input your hardware and get a list of settings and kexts for your build.
Or like dynamic documentation like the stripe docs, but then for your hackingtosh...
Hoping to setup one myself this week
