immrammc··on Ask HN: Are you faster navigating windows with i3 than other window managers?
If you’re looking for something similar for macOS, you can get partway to an i3 experience by using yabai and skhd. I’ve incorporated into my own environment and found it to be very useful.
immrammc··on DIY Book Binding
Yea, I saw the same behavior. Had to refresh to clear it as any interaction didn’t dismiss it.
immrammc··on Zig build system
I’d love if you could elaborate on your setup. Are you using something like nvim-dap from within neovim or something else? I’m still trying to improve my debug experience in neovim.
immrammc··on Ask HN: How do you maintain your daily log?
I couldn’t agree more; Obsidian is just a fantastic tool for this. I’d like to add that the calendar plugin has been really helpful to quickly navigate between and create notes for each day or week. Keeping notes both on a daily basis and weekly basis has helped me to better plan and evaluate what I’ve been doing.
immrammc··on ErgodoxE EZ – an ergonomic keyboard with open source firmware
I’ve had my eye on the Kinesis advantage for a long time. Is there any form of virtual layering like on the ergodox? That’s been a key feature for me with the ergodox and I’d have a hard time living without it.
immrammc··on A little exercise each day improves muscles more than one big weekly workout
Even though your just referencing the articles of Macrofactor, I’ve gotta say the app itself an absolute pleasure to use. It’s been instrumental in my current bulk cycle.
immrammc··on Ask HN: Anyone tried development using an Oculus?
One headset I’ve heard of that is aimed at more office focused usage is the SimulaVR[1]. However, it’s still a work in progress and you’d have to preorder.

Wow hadn’t heard about isolates at all, really cool! thanks for sharing!
immrammc··on Show HN: I built an interactive course that helps you learn Vim faster
If you’re trying to achieve VS Code with the keyboard navigation of vim, have you given the VSCode vim plugin a try? I’ve had positive experiences mixing editors/IDEs with a vim plugin to get the best of both for my workflow.
