Our workflow is built around removing the need for an office and technical infrastructure. We have live streams of our timeline output (video editing) and an open comms channel. Most of our team is pretty introverted, so it's a push to talk system. We mostly just leave notes in the chat if it doesn't warrant a full discussion.
Crude solutions are often the ones that get adopted.
If anything 1password has proved to me that an Electron application can eventually be pretty seamless. I have been very impressed in MacOS and Firefox.
I exclude Apple TV+ from our list since it's coupled with Music, Arcade, News and other things that we use as a family. I also use iCloud for my @personadomain email.
We generally avoid Amazon. I'll burn through Fallout during a $1.99 Prime trial or something, get a few packages shipped for "free" and move on.
We used to have AT&T fiber, that came bundled with HBO which was nice. We really didn't use it much though. Anything I want to see is 10 episodes and I can binge it when I'm sick.
Amex cards sometimes have a media sub program. We did Disney, Hulu and the NYT for $5 after the monthly credit on the statement. It easier to justify keeping those around when we change things up.

Most small businesses that I am around might send 24 invoices a year. There is an entire demographic that doesn't really have the need or desire for another service to manage.
Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU C3758 @ 2.20GHz 127.9GiB ECC RAM 8x WD in raidz2 1 SSD slot is a time machine pool for backing up my laptop on the network.
Scale would provide far more home server options than core. But all in all, the community is awesome, you're somewhat supporting open source and ZFS. And the big one for me is I can repair it, or swap out ALL the hardware if I want to upgrade.
https://www.truenas.com/truenas-mini/ for a desktop or shelf sized unit, those are actually quite nice, and repairable with off the shelf hardware.
But that $3500/entry level and upgrade into your career machine isn't the goal in whatever the heck these are. Aside from maybe like a Hollywood editor who wants to use a mac and gets their way, I have no idea who these are for. I think the goal is to just look really cool in a fancy office.
#2 would be portable hard drive. 300gb of video isn't enough to justify any syncing tools. Just drag and drop.
#3 rclone to Cloudflare R2 maybe, somewhere with no egress fees. Be about $5.
With that said, I've tried to switch on more than one occasion and Bing might be the only alternative that worked for me. DuckDuckGo is always way off the mark, no matter how many chances I've given it over the years. Google still wins, even with the ads and spammy stuff.
I'm excited about the possibilities this could bring. For now I mostly just have a lot of questions. This sounds like it will be for smaller production work, like vlog/podcast/promo shorts where the iPads limited storage will be capable.
The cut page is a nifty idea, it makes tasks like interview string-outs and cut-downs a fairly straightforward process. I don't know a single editor who uses it though.
Color wise, assuming I can sync my stills and take the iPad on the go, would be useful in some scenarios. But that's an expensive commodity. Generally when we go to color, it requires far more storage than an iPad is capable of.
I want to love it. But right now, I'm far more skeptical of its real world usefulness. I mostly just have a lot of workflow questions. I was personally hoping for something that was more of an extension of the desktop app than a standalone product.
One thing Blackmagic needs to do is bring the advanced Resolve features into the support realm and workflow documentation. The collaboration server and the cloud sync are mystery products. There's almost no formal support or documentation on how they work, how to solve a sync issue or overwrite when they happen, or to get actual feedback on issues from real engineers.
Why not bundle them all as one membership? Pocket, Mozilla VPN, Relay, Monitor, and whatever services they can scrape up premium options and features for to give them value?
