no idea, my project post moved down asap...a few little upvotes only.

The focus time music stopped playing after 2 minutes sir
igor_nast··on Ask HN: How do you manage skills files?
100% - influencers pretend they know something and produce all in one skills pack - that doesn't make sense

That's not true. I build an agentic IDE - indie dev tool. And it's for free and stays like it. I do it because I enjoy coding and the technology :)

https://shikigami.dev - more details here

igor_nast··on Ask HN: Who is using MCP in production?
We have it, a fresh tool that landed recently in prod. Makes it easier to communicate with the app resources. And it's a standardised way for agents to talk to a remote resource, easier for them to understand what is available and how to use it.

Read more about mcp tools/resources/prompts.

Is this even useful in any way?
igor_nast··on There's no such thing as a small software team anymore
If you want a truly free to use agentic IDE

check shikigami.dev - free to use - not a vc baked, indie product

igor_nast··on Delta
You can try shikigami dev IDE, and let me know what do you think - if you have some time. It's my side project and gains more and more popularity as an alternative to VCBaked or paid products. Thanks!
igor_nast··on What sort of maths are LLMs good at?
They are exceptional at the spending cost math :)
igor_nast··on Half of Europe's towns and villages have fewer residents than 60 years ago
I take it you don't understand that nobody wants to live there - so considering it as a housing option is a joke. But ok, sorry for making a shortcut in my prev comment.
igor_nast··on Half of Europe's towns and villages have fewer residents than 60 years ago
You didn't understand, I was referring to those "depopulated" places as well. So even thought a population of an area decreased prices don't show that.
igor_nast··on Half of Europe's towns and villages have fewer residents than 60 years ago
Yet still a lot of houses is expensive as h...rent/buy - doesn't really matter.
igor_nast··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026)
yes, thank you for adding +1 to this feature request.

If you use windows and would like to test it once released please join the discord server or find me on linkedin. I have one potential tester, and maybe another one (you) if you contact me. :) Thank you for the feedback!

igor_nast··on Ask HN: What are you working on? (August 2026)
Working on an Agentic IDE (free) - multiple AI agents support + classic IDE experience

https://shikigami.dev

BETA - means, production ready, but not still extending and experimenting with features - I keep working on it, and collecting feedback.

igor_nast··on Agent-Manager: A Tmux TUI for Running Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode
Nice, but I love my agentic IDE app. I prefer normal gui over terminal. Good luck!
igor_nast··on Ask HN: Which one do you use for planning and coding between sonnet and Opus?
Opus - planning/review + gpt spark med - implementation. Works better at lower cost.
igor_nast··on Does Speaking to Agents Like Cavemen Save 65% of Tokens? We Test
As the test shows the real gain is somewhat marginal to most people, but still some ppl claim a wide skills portfolio is required to move faster or save tokens. Mixed feelings, I personally use superpowers as my basic setup - and only them.

What are your thoughts on it?

igor_nast··on Does creatine make you smarter?
Nope, but makes a producer's pocket heavier :D
igor_nast··on A level up on voice interaction with agents – and local
I like the page design.
