- https://caseconverter.pro/app - a simple online case converter, could probably grow it with SEO
- https://getworkrecognized.com - app to keep a work diary and create self-reviews, actually paid for itself. Got promoted twice within 2.5 years at current company
- https://linkedium.com - app to schedule LinkedIn posts, mainly for marketing use of the other projects; its also not live yet
> but personally I wouldn't pay for
That's what most people say. But I also do not want to diverge into enterprise/teams offering yet since there are countless solutions and I want the product to work for the employee but not necessarily for the company. But maybe I have to pivot :/
- https://getworkrecognized.com — A platform to keep a work journal/brag document/work diary and create self-reviews or promotion writeups based on your notes // Currently trying to find motivation to make onboarding nicer incl. free trial instead of paid to get more users and initial feedback; I guess partly because of that tool i got promoted to senior level recently soo wohooo
- https://caseconverter.pro/app — A simple case converter on the web, guesses the type you want to convert into with a neural net (i know i could have used just statistical approaches lol) // Open sourced some components: https://github.com/igeligel/react-in-out-textarea and the text conversion soon™ - will launch on Product Hunt soon
- https://linkedium.com [Neither landing page nor app is ready yet] — A LinkedIn post scheduling app, planning to make it a bigger growth tool with insights on what kind of content performs well. Kind of like some analytics + social media scheduler for personal profiles but also company pages
If you have any questions about the projects, feel free to ask me :)
Feel free to contribute, give feedback, or comment whatever you like. Looking forward to some responses.
Personally, I was lucky because I had great courses, even in highschool, regarding SQL including: How are rows working, what is normalization, how does it help with data and so on. So naturally I developed some feeling on how to handle database tables.
In my team, at the end of the day, everyone is sharing what they did throughout the day work-wise. You can still list things that are non-engineering related. What I also do is tracking these notes in an application and tag the notes later for a self review. In the end, sharing these notes gives the team some perspective of what the others are doing and because of the random stuff everyone is doing from time to time we had awesome conversations / ideas because of that.

You can also use the search functionality of Indiehackers to discover certain products. This search might be something you look for: https://www.indiehackers.com/products?minRevenue=5&targetCus...
- How did you get your very first customer? I am always having this problem when I build something for myself first. - What do you miss from your full-time job though? There must be something :)
On the technical side I am working on https://getworkrecognized.com - a work achievement tracker with email reminders (soon) and a nice interface to create Self-Reviews/Brag sheets that will ultimately help you with your next promotion/performance review cycle.
You should read it if you are interested in programming and product things in general - so frontend, backend, and design the stuff. That's what I write most about.
But I also want to publish more in-depth tutorials like the DigitalOcean guides or career-tips.
Mentioning here that startups are not really obsessed by technology, at least most of them. There is this a weird mindset going around I think that technology is a 2nd class citizen. But it is depending on the startup I guess.
To get into one of the bigger companies like Zalando, contentful, N26, GetYourGuide, Klarna, Auto1, GoEuro, DeliveryHero, HelloFresh or SumUp takes more work and experience but it's completely doable. I am now at one of the companies above after 1.5 years of company experience.
