What point did you want to make? They discontinued iAds. Did you just find the first google result for karma points?

There used to be a TRIM program you could install. Used one when I swapped out the super drive for an ssd in a 2012 MacBook Pro (I think at around the same time?)

I believe it was!

What American is going to train at university for a job they have to go to Taiwan for? I’d say very few. Seems like good economic policy to kick start this fab.

Having skilled workers in an economy is a matter of having a skills pipeline that takes about 20 years to build. It starts by making industries exciting places for school leavers to think about their education, the accessible training programs and university places where they can learn to do it, and of course, somewhere to work. Now, the government is stepping in and creating the demand for those jobs. Good union & education policy should be getting people in those university places.

Unions have already figured out that foreign workers will need to staff it and will make everything from construction to operations near impossible. Which is incredibly shortsighted - you need the job demand before you can create the training demand and the skills in the country to train them to make it feasible for Americans to work there.

Technology means the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. It is a technology. If this is good or bad, is a rather Victorian notion called the appeal to nature.

Melbourne residents love comparing themselves to London.

Safari is nothing like IE 6. If the price of a free web is some incompatibility then it’s a price worth paying.

If you’ve spent any time on discord gaming communities you’d know. Roblox, Minecraft etc are absolutely rife.

As an example, the /r/pokemon discord had an ugly situation where predators were exchanging rare pokemon trades with kids for nudes.

Sorry, that would be Discord.

Digital content, and content subscriptions must use IAP. Physical items, experiences etc don’t.

We mandate half-flush systems in Australia. A half flush is 0.8 gallons and a US system uses 1.6 gallons per flush. Easy to retrofit your home if you care about water usage.

Still have the first edition of his book on my bookshelf. Wrote code and product managed on two different CI systems (Bamboo and Jenkins). Still cool to see CI evolving!

Only America has confused that date format!

There was a center of excellence and a lot of innovation by a relatively small industry at the time.

I had the opportunity to visit Pixars office at Emeryville 20 years ago. Loved the garden shed offices!

This is how we exported designs at Canva. It works!

Sunset must be rare if your country is covered in clouds most of the time.

Using Apple Music on a few Google devices now.

We almost did! It was a huge boulder to move. Nice to see you around too :) lets grab a beer soon

I really wished we finished it and made it the default UI. Jenkins is very extensible, so there are a LOT of extension points. We certainly didn't have the right approach to the API and devex for creating react plugin extension points either.

Thanks! My team and I made that and it was a lot of fun :)

Not every natural resource needs to be exploited 100% for profit.

Are you from the UK? This “contrarian” opinion sounds very much like the little sign at the British Museum that excuses looting other cultures artifacts and never returning them.

Yep. As I said to the OP, you can also send them away to be refilled. For office environments, you have two sets of carts that can be swapped and filled.

You can also send them away to be refilled! Have done this for high use lasers for years. https://inkjet411.com/?page_id=4779

Don’t buy new carts. Have them refilled. The carts themselves are very expensive. The kit below is around $75 CAD to do it at home.
