hybridtupel··on Gamification of teeth brushing
My thoughts go in the same direction. But in my opinion gamification is more problematic than you described it. There are just too many tasks we have to do regardless of getting rewarded or not.

The other problem is, the more we gamify our world, the higher the reward must be to keep us happy or challenged. Then "offline" activities like meeting friends are not exiting and rewarding any more.

hybridtupel··on VLC 2.2.0 multi-releases
Well no, the new version is 2.2.0 and the version before was 2.1.5 so actualy you got the previous update with the updater.
hybridtupel··on Luna – Hack your sleep
Sorry but I don't support indiegogo projects any more. There are more scam projects than real ones out there and the indiegogo team doesn't give a shit about it. This makes me sad, because I like the idea of crowdsourced projects. But there needs to be a platform either side can trust which indiegogo is definitely not because scam projects attract more people and so they make more money with them.
hybridtupel··on Tough Times on the Road to StarCraft
Does anybody know what happened with part three? Was it ever published?
hybridtupel··on Terminal game to test Git skills
Looks promising, but did I read correctly "each one harder than the next"? ;)
hybridtupel··on C++ depot build tool
Looks quite promising! But: "It will sniff out all of the objects which also need to be built to make it work, and it will build them first." Seems like every source file will always be compiled regardless whether it has changed since the last build or not. So it's just for rather small projects.
