(Hopefully that won't be considered as self-promotion, but if it does. Admin/Moderator: just message me so I can change the message, so it's not considered as self-promotion.)
That's really similar to what I do, but I believe that you might be tracking a bit more than I am, on a more granualar level, which is good. I might do some changed based on my process based on what you are doing.
I would just add here that definitively not all therapist are good, and for me I've preferred some coaches, but again not all of them are good. But overall, usually coaches seems to have worked better for me.
The article was a good read, thank you for sharing. In the Wealth Dynamics profiling, I am a Mechanic (really close to be a Creator), so that would mean that I am more of an Improver, but my process of improving is through the process of Thinker and Builder. Basically, taking what already exist to create something that would be better down the road. Would that make sense?
That's a really good point and perspective. I would say that I am interested in solving a specific problem or serving a specific use case by improving what already exists (making it better using) through the process of building solutions (being a maker). Would that be more clear?
I totally agree, that "making the world a better place" has become more of a placeholder than anything else. What I was referring to, is more of about finding problems to solve that will help people. It doesn't have to be a world impact, but if I can help 1 person do 1 thing only 1% better, that's good enough. Because, then, this small improvement can do the same and snowball into something massive that later on could have a ripple effect. That's mostly my goal.
I love that framework! I definitively agree that I could be more specific, and overall, my pleasure is in building things and improving things. Independently of what it is, from coding to manual work. I simply love having these small success and accomplishments.
I'm approaching 30, and I've been doing inner work for the last 2 years. I still don't feel perfect about everything, as there's a lot of "inner demons" that are creeping in all the time, but it's a work in progress. I can finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I was starting to forget who I truly was but the inner work help, and slowly the fog is starting to dissipate and I can finally start to see more and more.
