private? if you visit the website, my privacy extensions blocked more than 70 request...

sounds like a scam

because it is.

what is GP?

how about opening an issue instead of complaining?

"let me be the guy who points people to an alternative project when someone is trying to present theirs"

I was being sarcastic

$99 to receive an update? sounds like a scam...

I thought there will be a downloadable desktop app....

the title is misleading. Should be "longest running American Animated series"

Sazae-san, a Japanese anime, has been running since 1974, with over 7,500 episodes

why were you collecting private data without notifying the user? some severe violations like this prompt immediate removal imo

it means if you dare to give us a negative review, we will sue you.

terrible subscription model. Tried to download but they force you to sign up. The free version has a watermark which means anything you do on it is unusuable.

Snaps speed? How about you actually use the camera on android phones?? snapchat doesn't even USE the camera on Android phones. Instead, it takes a screenshot of the screen, resulting ina terrible quality. It's really embarrassing that they're still doing this for a company this big...

you work for Brave. I can't take what you say on face value

then what about this?:

> On 6 June 2020, a Twitter user pointed out that Brave inserts affiliate referral codes when users type a URL of Binance into the address bar, which earns Brave money. Further research revealed that Brave redirects the URLs of other cryptocurrency exchange websites, too. In response to the backlash from the users, Brave's CEO apologized and called it a "mistake" and said "we're correcting".

Seems intentional... Don't insult our intelligence and tell us that this was an "accident" or "unintended mistaken".

are u planning to add image search? also where is the source code?

brave used to redirect users when they visit crypto websites to their referral link so they earn money. Do u really trust a company that would do that?

Brave is just a "pop-privacy" company. I will skip this one...

so you're saying it would be better then DDG just because u r paying money for it?

he never responded to what mattered to Matthew though. He responded to one specific instance and not the overall problem.

did you read the original blog post?

apology?

nothing of what I read sounds like an apology.

You basically said that your friends told you that what you did looked bad, and based on that, you feel sorry that he "felt" hurt. Then go on saying how good and gracious you were to him?

c'mon...

edit: typo

I use https://github.com/yuliskov/SmartYouTubeTV

It ah the same UI as youtube, but no ads.

whenever I open it, it loads: https://libraries.psu.edu/ask

the ui shows false information when u pick a modern date

you can't open this unless you're logged in to PA. I don't understand the point of posting this here or why this is on the front page!

it forces you to provide a phone number to use it. I'm out... too invasive

cryptocurrencies are ruining hardware availability (both GPU and now storage devices), the environment and now free cloud services. When are we gonna admit it?

EDIT: typo

I have recommended repel.it to many people when I want to quickly show someone with no coding experience the results of a simple script or when I want to quickly collaborate on a small project. But now I will no longer support this project.
