You'll never believe what our current levels of CO2 does to society.
The world would look very different if organisations were on the hook for the actions of their suppliers.
I'm pretty sure that's not helpful.
I drove a Model Y for >2 years, and it was great. The camp-mode alone brought so many opportunities to stay with friends and family more than I otherwise would have. Camping and sleeping in the car was the only time I had to wake up the dog in the morning. Usually she's up before me.
It used to be that Elon's public persona was a geek who wanted solar panels and EVs everywhere. When there were concerns about battery life, he upped the warranty. There were a few more very positive cases like that.
Then those things slowly feel apart.
Later it turns out we were fooled all along, and he's been a lifelong conservative, mistreated his kids and still does, and lately offered financial support to a wanna-be dictator. I can't even remember every horrible thing now.
Getting rid of the Model Y wasn't easy or cheap, but if I can't stand by my principles when it gets hard, what's the point of having principles?
I know some people who just can't afford to get rid of a car like this, but those who deliberately support a person like Musk are just hanging out in a Nazi bar at this point, and my grandparent literally did bad things to Nazis.
If you ever heard people ask "What did normal people do during the Nazi's rise to power?" -- we're all doing it now.
* Being unable to complete a character sheet unless someone walked them through it and made every decision for them
* Being unable to come up with character background
* Not being able to communicate if they were coming to a game or not
* Being 30-40 mins late without communicating
* Walking around, playing on their phone
* Demanding handwritten journals / game tracking because the sounds of typing ruined the immersion for them
* Constantly having to remind them of rules from session 0, such as 'no alcohol before or during the game'
* Extreme arguing over dice rolls
* Projecting their trauma onto many character and DM interactions
* Showing up with real-life gifts for the DM, expecting in-game rewards
Most recently, I lasted 12 sessions of 4-6 hours each before I cancelled the game. It killed my joy and I haven't DM'd since. It's been years now.
Typing that out made feel sad.
Clicking "lesson 4.1. printf" bumped that up to 101 & 16. That is just too much.
I would personally prefer using well-known tools over installing someone's latest project to handle something as sensitive as my SSH credentials.
Installing code instead of editing my .ssh/config seems like a gigantic risk.

We've tried raw science and data for more than 100 years when the oil industry correctly predicted our current levels of CO2, and then kept doing business as usual. We knew something was up around 1821, and had a firm grasp of the situation by 1861 (one eight six one):

If you make money by risking the lives of my family, I'm done being polite.
Microsoft has a loooong history of botched (security) updates, so I'm not hopeful they can teach Crowdstrike much.
Microsoft could have come up with a kernel API that their own malware (and everyone elses) product could make use of. They did not.
This is authentication. Fingerprinting is something else.
For what it's worth, this is from the build log:

How did this become "minimal dependencies"?
I enabled 'Always Show Speech' and even if the text indicates Siri understood what I said, it still often does the wrong thing anyway.

What mess are we in because of POSIX?

This is nothing to emulate. It would have been nice with a comment explaining why you link here.
I click the star on GitHub when I come across a project that doesn't seem immediately worthwhile, but that I might want to check back on in a few years.
I can't imagine caring about how many stars / likes something has.
See the bottom text on https://svnbook.red-bean.com/
I hope you have matured since then. Your behaviour sounds creepy AF.
