I think having the Facebook sign in is fair in this case.
On the downside, the appearance of the site looks pretty poor, a classic case of bootstrapitis.
Furthermore, kudos to the founder for creating this thing at such a young age, but is he really going to have a space at Yahoo?
Also your github link 404s.
But I still wouldn't use it for a serious business venture. Look at how a lot of previous x.io companies have now switched to xio.com.
Secondly I'd be pretty pissed if I put my idea up on a service like this, demand for it skyrockets, then someone steals it and develops it before me.
The description on the app store sums it up perfectly - "Draw! is a pixel art editor. Draw 16 x 16 animated pictures and share them with your friends."
Here's my gripe with these things. It seems like we're going backwards. Years ago everyone used Frontpage and Dreamweaver to create their pages, which was fine. But it soon became apparent that handwriting your own HTML gave your far greater control and added way more value, and so use of these visual editors died down. But now they're back for revenge, except from the browser this time, and stuck with a totally overused css framework which in my opinion [when used at stock] completely devalues your design.
As a then designer who took the time to learn HTML and CSS during the WYSIWYG cull of the early 00s - which wasn't that hard - I just can't see why these editors are needed.
