This isn't "every single thing that you could possibly want to talk about". This is something that half of the world population experiences roughly monthly for some number of years. Certainly it's more frequently experienced than the emojis - though I appreciate those. So it's clearly something that should exist. The underwear might seem odd but it's no weirder than the smiling poop emoji...
Autonomous vehicles could optimize routes and driving to get things to places faster, reduce stress while driving, and create safer roads. If the tech was widespread enough, there could be autonomous lanes that can drive at very fast speeds too.
No need for a strap, Bluetooth linked locks that are automated so when one opens the other does to. Or put the lock on the wall rather than on the door and have a mechanical device running up and through the roof to the other door, configured such that the two door locks are restricted similar to the automation.
Something about someone smelling cake or a bakery in their neighborhood when there wasn't one, but it turned out to be chemicals leaching from the ground due to what was there years ago and buried.
I usually see people comment on the font and scoff as it's generally not aweful, but that font color just looks terrible and unreadable on my screen. Is it a really light grey for everyone or just me?
Yep it's dreaming within a dream exactly. I've had it happen to three levels deep (assuming this world is real). Woke up then woke up again, then woke up a third time and now I'm in this world.
Can we get a trade on this font, gosh it's bad. Color and weight both need to be increased. Seriously #00000 on #FFFFF makes life easy with a font weight of at least 400
I dunno, I'm surprised you thought it was mandatory. Pretty confident in the state of Wisconsin you cannot force someone who does not have life threatening ailments surgery.
Wait - didn't Newton say that a body will not accelerate nor change direction unless a force enacts upon it? Once you set an initial velocity in void space with no air, you should never decelerate unless you accelerate in the direction inverse from your motion.
Surprised to see no comments about the fact Bezos owns the post and they randomly include the fact about halfway through the article. "(Jeffrey P. Bezos, the chief executive of Amazon, owns The Washington Post.)"
If you can achieve >90% testing, efficiently and properly. It's worth it. Testing for the correct title is worth it. Especially if the title has something appended to it at render time (i.e. hello | website_name). Someone can over ride this on a page and having a test to catch that is important. A well written test would check for page_name | website_name across all pages. Pages are finite. Such tests are useful. Hartl uses basic testing framework as an introduction but there are better ones available.
I don't get it seriously, this lady has too much money, only helps herself and others who fund her addiction to premium and unnecessary products. She has a highly inneficient life basically focused on fads and things sold to people as scams. She and her husband don't communicate enough. She has a psychological condition that allows her to feel empowered and with this inneficiency. She convinces others with unusual amounts of money in a cult like fashion to buy her product. She continues to profit, and she brags about this pyramid scheme that she isn't even at the top of.
