ok. I can understand that.

That what happens if you let tolerate those kind of comments. Stupid false blatant false info are upvoted. If you try to answer civilly then you are donwvoted. I could have left it, but choose to indulge. You can ban me, anyway that would stop me getting involved in these petty situations. I don't anyway contribute much, just here for some tech news.

btw you implied i would be banned, but not the other user. What makes me special?

hesarenu··on I want to learn D3. I don’t want to learn Observable. Is that ok?
It does not need to redirect to observables. It could have lived in d3js itself. I am not sure if i can copy paste it to a html/js page and run.

“At minimum” - your entitlement is truly ridiculous. So just saying a link to github is now not tolerated!

hesarenu··on I want to learn D3. I don’t want to learn Observable. Is that ok?
What does free have to redirect to another project. At minimum it should redirect to github examples page.
hesarenu··on I want to learn D3. I don’t want to learn Observable. Is that ok?
Maybe they should not redirect users to observable when clicking on d3js examples.
hesarenu··on Had Covid? You’ll probably make antibodies for a lifetime
Hmm trying to change history? India govt is right winged but don't think they denied efficiency of masks or vaccination.
hesarenu··on If Apple is the only organisation defending our privacy, it is time to worry
Its also mentioned "We are obligated to provide some non-personal information to strategic partners that work with Apple to provide our products and services, help Apple market to customers, and sell ads on Apple’s behalf to display in the App Store and Apple News and Stocks."

Why a privacy focused company is into Advertising?

hesarenu··on Material You – The next stage for Material Design
Let me blow your mind

My fellow developer did not know that you can long press on mac bottom bar like for years. He observed it when i did it. I think i even noticed it after many days. That's the problem with hidden gestures. Android the same issue when you hide the bottom bar. I just keep it on, swiping is anyway difficult when palms are sweaty.

hesarenu··on Material You – The next stage for Material Design
Its your opinion. As for me Android has a visual consistency which is not matched by iOS. As is said before iOS is dated. Though it has been dated fore few years. I still remember when i first got the iPad and saw the UI. I was like maybe i am on a older version. Nope latest version. Material design has been improving, need to see if this re-design is better than before.
hesarenu··on Material You – The next stage for Material Design
This paragraph is mostly in response to the fact that the GP comment is so downvoted for saying "I prefer Android's UI" - heh. This is not the first time i am saying in this forum. But before ice cream sandwich Android UI was plain ugly. I am not talking about UX or other features. But with Material design they have a better UI and even better UX as well. Apple was always known for it UI but that not mean you take that as a fact instead of evaluating it as time goes by.
hesarenu··on Material You – The next stage for Material Design
The general UI design is far simpler cleaner than iOS. iOS feels very dated. Notification dropdown is a big UI improvement. Navigation is better because of back button unlike the tiny back link in iOS. They did change the time picker which i had issues before because of the scroll picker(my hands are sweaty). These are wrt iPad, which i use mostly for testing iOS apps not a normal day to day use.
hesarenu··on Material You – The next stage for Material Design
I feel in general Android UI is vastly better than Apple. Apple had a better ui before Material design came into picture.

How does RTK query compare with react-query[1]. I replaced my redux stack with react-query and simple usestate/usecontext.

hesarenu··on Why is India having a Covid-19 surge?
There are more cases in city in Bangalore alone when compared to whole to UP(80Lakh pop vs 22cr). It seems double mutation strains in present in most cases in India. Which initially was seen in Mah. So i do assume it spread from human contact to eveywhere.
hesarenu··on Why is India having a Covid-19 surge?
So i assume jamat guys spread covid across India last time?
hesarenu··on Why is India having a Covid-19 surge?
Uttarakhand maybe. But Bangalore has as many cases as UP.
hesarenu··on Why is India having a Covid-19 surge?
It seems more like elections and kumbh are standard phrases of opposition party. Cases are exploding in Bangalore. Do you know how far kumbh is to Bangalore. You are just trying to find a scapegoat, like how the RW where using Jamat last Year.
hesarenu··on Why is India having a Covid-19 surge?
But is there any evidence that spending time outside, vitamin d etc reduces covid. April and May are peak summer time in India. Most of the states are open not in lockdown mode, but cases are growing rapidly.
hesarenu··on Why is India having a Covid-19 surge?
Why this latching onto election rallies and kumbh. Cases are exploding in Karnataka. No election or Kumbh here. Same for Maharastra.
hesarenu··on India’s second wave of Covid-19 feels nothing like its first
I think most of the pics, articles like this one are from Delhi. Which i think is in terrible shape. With cases not decreasing most hospitals would any way be stressed. But i assume it not terrible everywhere. My citie's Govt Hospital and Pvt ones are not over crowded or even anyway looks stressed as of now.
hesarenu··on India’s second wave of Covid-19 feels nothing like its first
That sentence is not there in the link. And it even does not say covid has ended. Let me paste a text from the article to say bad badly the op changed the meaning

He sad " We need to follow 3 steps: Keep politics out of the COVID-19 vaccination drive, Trust the science behind COVID-19 Vaccines, and ensure our near & dear ones get vaccinated on time."

hesarenu··on India’s second wave of Covid-19 feels nothing like its first
I returned to Bangalore on April when cases were barely going up, Vaccine drive was the way and all seemed good. And now were are in a lockdown!.
hesarenu··on India’s second wave of Covid-19 feels nothing like its first
But if the number of cases increases its very difficult to manage. Recent reports indicate Kerala might face shortage. Karnataka which also had enough oxygen can face a deficit in coming days if the cases keep up.
hesarenu··on India’s second wave of Covid-19 feels nothing like its first
The cases spiked after April. If it was not mutation the total number of active cases would have still going up from last October. Active cases suddenly dropped from October with no good factors to indicate why it dropped.

I have been to 3 wedding after the drop. Almost no one was wearing mask. As far i know govt was still asking people to wear mask. There were major Hindu festivals after October and coming winter were everyone was worried the cases would rise. Did the virus simply hide and rose rapidly?

hesarenu··on India’s second wave of Covid-19 feels nothing like its first
There were similar claims last time as well. It seems Kerala reported 20k less deaths in 2020[1]. There might be disparity but saying 5x or 10x is too much.

hesarenu··on India’s second wave of Covid-19 feels nothing like its first
Where does in the link he claims covid is conquered. He specifically says we are in endgame and to succeed politics should be kept out of the Covid-19 vaccination drive. There were too many guys questioning vaccination. Why twist the sentence?
